In particular, according to another embodiment, each of the straps can be made from a web of fabric not sewn, but having at one of its ends a fastening element of the type belt buckle, and at other of its ends several holes, allowing both to connect the two ends of the fabric strip and to adjust the size of the strap. The baby carrier is then devoid of adjustment loops 4. Moreover, the loops 4, 4 'of adjustment can be placed not in the back of the wearer, but in front of it.

Claims

CLAIMS1.- A device (1) for carrying a baby (30), comprising a first webbing (2, 2 ') of fabric comprising at least one part (6, 6') with a tight mesh and a part (8, 8 ') with wide and extensible mesh, characterized in that it comprises a second webbing (2, 2') of fabric comprising at least one part (6, 6 ') with tight mesh and a part (8, 8') to wide and extensible meshes, and in that said first and second straps (2, 2 ') are adapted to be carried by a carrier (28) by a carrier, the wide and extensible mesh portions (8, 8') of said straps ( 2, 2 ') overlapping the front of the wearer (28) by defining an expandable area (26) carrying able to support said baby (30).

2.- Device (1) for carrying according to claim 1, characterized in that it further comprises a connecting element (5) adapted to be fixed to said first and second straps (2, 2 ') above said portage area (26).

3.- Device (1) for carrying according to claim 2, characterized in that said element (5) of connection is adapted to support the head of said baby (30).

4.- Device (1) for carrying according to one of claims 2 or 3, characterized in that said connecting member (5) is adapted to be fixed to said first and second straps (2, 2 ') removably.

5.- Device (1) for carrying according to one of claims 2 to 4, characterized in that, in the carrying position, said connecting element (5) has a concave shape converging downwards.

6. A device (1) for carrying according to claim 5, characterized in that said connecting element (5) has a substantially rectangular shape and comprises along each vertical side means (10, 10 ') of removable attachment to one of the straps (2, 2 ').

7.- Device (1) for carrying according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that at least one of said first and second straps (2, 2 ') comprises means (4, 4') for adjusting, suitable for adjust the length of said strap (2, 2 ').

8.- Device (1) for carrying according to claim 7, characterized in that said means (4, 4 ') of adjustment is a loop (4, 4') removable relative to said strap (2, 2 ') and disposed on a closely knit portion (6, 6 ') of said strap (2, 2').

9.- Device (1) for carrying according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that at least one of said first and second straps (2, 2 ') is an annular strap, made from a web of fabric continuous whose two ends are fixed to one another in a non-separable manner.

10.- A device (1) for carrying according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that at least one of said first and second straps comprises a continuous strip of fabric whose two ends are provided with complementary fasteners .5
