Siège pour véhicule automobile comprenant une embase (3), apte à supporter le siège, une assise (6), portée par l'embase (3), un repose-jambe (7) escamotable, adapté pour supporter les jambes d'un utilisateur, le repose-jambe (7) étant relié à l'assise par un mécanisme de manœuvre (1), le mécanisme de manœuvre (1) comprenant une bielle (8) montée pivotante par rapport à l'assise (6), ledit repose-jambe (7) étant monté coulissant sur la bielle le long de la direction principale (W) de la bielle, un coulisseau (2) mobile en translation selon la direction longitudinale (X) par rapport à l'embase (3), le repose-jambe (7) étant monté pivotant sur une portion avant du coulisseau (2).
