Description
La présente invention est relative à une vis mélangeuse articulée ainsi qu'à un dispositif de mélange comportant une cuve dans laquelle est disposée au moins une telle vis mélangeuse. Les dispositifs connus pour mélanger des éléments solides ou pâteux comprennent tous une cuve dans laquelle est situé un moyen de mélange tels que des agitateurs en forme de cadre, des vis mélangeuses d'axe vertical ou d'axe oblique. Par exemple, dans le document FR-2666247-A est décrite une mélangeuse qui comprend un caisson cylindrique et une vis comprenant une paroi d'entraînement hélicoïdale fixée à un arbre monté pour tourner coaxialement à la paroi cylindrique. Le diamètre intérieur du caisson cylindrique et celui de l'enveloppe du mouvement décrit par la vis sont tels que l'espace ménagé entre eux est suffisamment faible pour que des éléments du mélange ne se collent par la paroi cylindrique. Ce mode de réalisation interdit donc des cuves de mélange de grand diamètre. D'après le document FR-2354806-A il est connu un mélangeur pour des matières pulvérulentes qui comprend une trémie évasée vers le haut, dans laquelle une vis peut décrire un mouvement orbital ou cycloïdal : cette vis peut ainsi racler la paroi interne de la trémie mais le centre de la trémie peut ne pas être mélangé. Aussi un des buts de présente invention est-il de fournir une vis mélangeuse qui permet de mélanger des produits solides situés non seulement dans la partie centrale d'un dispositif de mélange, mais également à proximité de la paroi interne de celui-ci quelle qu'en soit ta forme. Un autre but de l'invention est de fournir un dispositif pour mélanger des matières solides du genre comprenant une cuve dans laquelle est situé une vis mélangeuse Ces buts, ainsi que d'autres qui apparaîtront par suite, sont atteints par une vis mélangeuse constituée par un arbre sur lequel est disposée une paroi d'entraînement hélicoïdale, laquelle vis est caractérisée, selon la présente invention, par le fait que l'arbre comporte une première partie tournant autour de son axe, dont une extrémité est reliée à un dispositif d'entraînement, et une seconde partie articulée sur l'autre extrémité de la première partie. Avantageusement, la seconde partie représente environ au moins la moitié de la longueur totale de l'arbre. Selon la présente invention, cet arbre 2 comprend une première partie 2a tournant autour de son axe et dont une extrémité est reliée à un dispositif d'entraînement, et une seconde partie 2b articulée par une liaison de type rotule sur l'autre extrémité de la première partie 2a : cette seconde partie peut donc en rotation décrire un cône. L'inclinaison de cette seconde partie 2b par rapport à la première partie 2a peut être réglée par tout système : manuel, lame de ressort, vérin hydraulique avec boule d'azote ou tout autre moyen permettant ainsi une inclinaison fixe ou pouvant varier durant le fonctionnement en fonction de la nature des produits à mélanger. L'angle d'inclinaison de la seconde partie 2b par rapport à la première partie 2a est de préférence compris entre 0 et 25 degrés. La présente invention est aussi relative à un dispositif de mélange ou cuve 3 comportant une telle vis de mélange 1. Mais, cette cuve peut comporter deux ou plusieurs de telle vis de mélange comme selon le présent exemple de réalisation représenté à la figure 3. Dans cet exemple, les vis de mélange 1 et 10 sont disposées verticalement dans cette cuve 3 : leurs arbres, 2 et 20 respectivement, comportent une première partie dont une extrémité est en relation, de façon connue, avec un dispositif d'entraînement.
