Abstract

The exhaust line (5) has an exhaust manifold (19) provided with exhaust gas inlets (21). A fuel introducing device (29) introduces liquid fuel i.e. diesel, inside the manifold. The fuel introducing device has a fuel vaporizer (47) equipped with a vaporizing chamber (55). The vaporizing chamber has a liquid fuel inlet (57) and a vapor outlet (59) emerging inside the manifold. A heating unit i.e. spark plug (61), is partially located inside the vaporizing chamber to vaporize the liquid fuel.
