Amplificateur de freinage à dépression en particulier pour véhicule automobile, comprenant une coque (40) sensiblement circulaire centrée autour d'un axe, comportant une face avant recevant un maître-cylindre de freinage (44), et une face arrière reliée à un support (60), caractérisé en ce que la coque (40) est entièrement enfermée dans un caisson d'insonorisation, comprenant un demi-caisson avant (42) et un demi-caisson arrière (62) qui se rejoignent suivant un plan de joint sensiblement transversal.
