Abstract
Description
The present invention is an apparatus for holding electrical wires or cables or other such that they do not tangle while still being usable. Traditionally, this operation is practiced by folding the wires or cables on themselves in the form of eight or round and maintaining them by a link that can be closed by twisting the strands. There are also coil type systems on which these wires or cables are wound either manually by means of a crank or by automatic return by means of a spring. There is also a Yo-yo / Diabolo (Cleverline Giant Cable Turtle) device on which the wire is wound manually. These mechanisms are not always suitable for common wires that clutter our offices behind our electrical and electronic devices: computers, various readers, monitors ...; The devices presented here solve these problems since the wires according to their size and length will be kept very simply in place while being available for use. The invention is characterized by the use of a simple device of a sort of semi-open box with rounded edges. This housing can have the form of dumbbell or bone in which son are coiled in eight by passing at each of its two ends the wire holding outside the male and female plugs or other outlets. The case can have a round shape in a circle or oval, but in this case the wire will be coiled also in a circle or oval. In both cases, the winding is done by pushing the wire until it is blocked by the walls of the housing.
The housing could be made of many materials: wood, cardboard, plastic, metal, mesh ... Descriptions and comments of the figures according to particular embodiments: Plate 1/3, containing Figures 1 and 2 represents the housing being Loaded wire: Figure 1 shows the housing (1) seen from above. One distinguishes the electric wire (2) coiled with the way we have the rope of an anchor namely eight-shaped in the housing (1). This electrical wire has at one of its ends a male electrical outlet (3) and at the other end a female electrical socket (4) .The housing (1), here, has the shape of a dumbbell with two parts widened (5 and 5 ') and a narrow part (6). The upper flange (7) of the housing (1) is curved so that it prevents the exit of the wire (2) when pushed to store it. The two notches (8 and 8 ') hold the wire (2) while allowing it to slide. The interior (9) of the housing collects the wire (2). Holes (10 t 10 ') in the bottom of the case allow it to be suspended from a stud on a vertical surface for easy storage. FIG. 2 shows the housing (1) loaded with the wire (2) whose male and female plugs are nested one inside the other to ensure their retention in the wire storage state. The board 2/3 represents the device without the wire: FIG. 1 represents the case seen from the side. This shows that the middle portion (6) is thicker than the ends (5). This allows the superposition of the los son of their crossing in the narrowed part (6). Figure 2 shows the housing (1) seen from above. Its dumbbell or bone form consists of two flared parts (5 and 5 ') and a narrower part (6). A curved rim (7) prevents the wire from coming out when pushed inside (9) of the housing (1). Slit indentations (8 and 8 ') at the ends temporarily hold the wire. An orifice (10 and 10 ') makes it possible to suspend the housing (1) on a vertical surface at a peak. Figure 3 shows the sagittal section along A-B of the housing (1) at the wide portion (5). There is clearly the flange (7) ensuring the maintenance of the wire. Figure 4 shows the C-D sagittal section of the housing (1) at the narrow portion (6). We distinguish the greater thickness of the inner part (9). Figure 5 shows a side view of the width of the housing (1). We distinguish the notch (8 ') which hosts the wire. The board 3/3 represents the other type of embodiment of this housing (1): Figure 6 shows a housing (1) of round shape but it could be oval. There is found the flange (7) in which are cut by notches (8) for the maintenance of the wire (2) leaving outside electrical outlets or the like (3 and 4). The orifice (10) allows the attachment of the housing (1) on a vertical surface.
