Description
The present invention relates to a process for decorating a vial and more particularly to a method for producing a decoration inside the vial. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION The aesthetics of the products is, today, an important element of choice for the contractors. Also, whatever the field in which they operate, the builders seek to give their products the best aesthetic possible, so as to cause a purchase reflex by consumers. The field of fashion, jewelery, cosmetics, and perfumery is, of course, very concerned about the aesthetics of the products and their possible packaging, and everyone has been able to see that, in particular perfumers , seek to attract customers with bottles that are different from the competition by offering their perfumes in bottles more and more aesthetic and original in their forms and decorations. Processes for decorating a transparent or translucent bottle according to which the decoration is carried out inside the bottle by means of a lacquer of color which is sprayed inside the bottle are already known. This method is disclosed, for example, by patent FR 2 851 940. By this method, it is possible to produce an interior decoration comprising, for example, a single layer of decorative coating, see several layers. The lacquers used are liquid epoxy or polyurethane lacquers, or lacquers made using solvent-free powders of the epoxy, polyurethane, polyester or even polyethylene type and its derivatives. However, this type of decoration if it allows to make beautiful decorations is a problem because most of the fragrances likely to fill the bottles and decorated, may be incompatible with the nature of the decoration or layers that can pollute and degrade these perfumes. One solution to this problem is to proceed in a final step to deposit a layer likely to block the migration to the perfume of the harmful ingredients of the lacquer layers. Also known from patent application FR 2 889 485, a method according to which the one or more internal decorative layers is an enamel layer. However, this type of process has the disadvantage of having to carry out cooking by heating at a high temperature for example 800 ° C, which makes the process expensive and unusable for plastic bottles.
The invention proposes a new decoration process for decorating a bottle from the inside, which makes it possible to obtain a particularly elegant decoration whose perfume is protected from the aggressions of the layers of lacquer thanks to a barrier layer and isolating the perfume of said layers.
According to the method of the invention, the decoration is carried out inside the latter, so as to cover the inner surface of a decoration, consisting of a coating. According to the decoration method, at least one decoration layer is produced, knowing, as will be seen below, that the decoration can be achieved by means of several layers of lacquers, the layer of which in permanent contact with the perfume is the inner layer. inert defined previously.
The method of the invention is intended for the interior decoration of a transparent or translucent bottle, said bottle being able to be made of glass or plastic. The method is particularly well suited to the decoration of bottles used in the field of cosmetics such as perfume bottles, eau de toilette, or cologne. Thus, the process for decorating a transparent or translucent glass bottle made of plastic material intended for the field of cosmetics, for containing a liquid such as a perfume, or the like, according to the invention, is characterized in that the decoration is carried out inside the bottle, thanks to the production of at least one layer of spray-painted decorative lacquer, covered by an inert inner layer of characteristic close to the glass, in order to isolate the perfume from the decorative layer. Thus, the decorative lacquer layer is made by spraying is a paint or a liquid varnish, which is, for example, a liquid epoxy lacquer, or is a liquid polyurethane lacquer, or solvent-free powder, which is a dry extract and, by for example, an epoxy type powder, of the polyurethane, polyester or even polyethylene type and its derivatives. The epoxy varnish is a conventional epoxy varnish, consisting of a varnish, a hardener of a holding agent and a diluent, According to the invention the inert inner layer in contact with the perfume, deposited internally on the layer lacquer is a layer of an inorganic product, and is advantageously an inorganic polymer made by the "SOLGEL" process. The final layer thus deposited is an inert polymer whose characteristics are close to the glass.
The decorative lacquer layer is made by spraying inside the bottle of a colored liquid, directly on the glass (or plastic in the case of a plastic bottle), using a pneumatic gun low pressure which comprises an extension that can be introduced inside the vial, carrying at its end a spray nozzle, and during spraying the spray nozzle is moved vertically and rotates on itself in order to deposit a homogeneous layer of lacquer. It should also be noted that, parallel to the spraying, an aspiration is carried out to create a depression inside the bottle. The spraying is done on a hot flask, so in a step preceding the spraying step, the flask is heated. the heating can be done, for example, by hot air or passage in an oven, for example, for 7 minutes at 170 °, so as to achieve a kind of cooking.
Note that the spraying made through the spray nozzle introduced into the bottle through its mouth, is such that the nozzle being disposed at the end of a spray tube is constituted by a central pipe comprising, for example, a set of radial holes connected to a tank containing the product to be sprayed. In addition, the spray tube comprises a peripheral suction channel. Of course, the spray nozzle may have any other construction. In an additional step following the spraying step, drying is carried out followed by cooling. Note that in the case of spraying a liquid, the latter can be heated before spraying to improve its attachment to the inner surface of the flask.
In the case of a decorative layer made by spraying a mist, in the form of powder or liquid inside the bottle. It should be added that the powdering is advantageously done on a hot bottle; also, in a step preceding the spraying step, the vial is heated, and as in the case of spraying a liquid, in an additional step following the spraying step, to a drying. The powder sprayed during the main spraying stage is a solvent-free lacquer powder, which is a dry extract and, for example, an epoxy type powder, of the polyurethane, polyester or even polyethylene, Surlyn or other type. The principle is developed so that a permanent depression is created in the bottle, thus allowing the arrival in suspension of the powder and its homogeneous distribution inside the latter, by means of precise settings of the flows of powder and suction. The dusting is advantageously done on a hot bottle; also, in a step preceding the spraying step, the vial is heated, the heating being done, for example, by means of hot air, or advantageously by radiation.
According to the method of the invention, it is possible, for example, to spray a liquid or a powder of a first color (Cl) to form a first layer of color decorations having a first color (Cl). Then, in an intermediate step, the layer can be destroyed in certain zones, for example by laser method. In this operation of destroying the layer, it is possible to make a colorless marking, then a liquid or a powder of a second color (C2) is sprayed into the bottle to make a second layer of color decoration having the second color. color. This second layer will be visible from the outside only in areas where the first layer of first color has been destroyed. It will thus be possible, and this, thanks to the process, to create sets of different colors, or to destroy, for example, by laser, the layer or layers of internal decoration, to leave a zone without decoration, in order to make visible the level of the content of the bottle. The final inert layer, the final layer, will then be in permanent contact with the contents to ensure that the chemicals or dyes contained in the decorative layer and the product contained in the bottle do not migrate over time.
8 Let us add that the process also allows to realize an internal decoration with, for example, three layers of different colors, and that according to these layers it will be possible to destroy only the first layer to let appear in these destroyed zones the second layer, while the first two layers could be destroyed in other areas, to reveal the third layer, the laser destroying only layers of lacquer with pigments. According to another embodiment, an internal decoration is produced by more than two layers of different colors and only the first layer is destroyed in order to reveal the second layer in these destroyed areas, while the first two layers are destroyed in the second layer. other areas to reveal the third layer. The invention also relates to the bottle decorated according to the process of the invention, which is characterized in that it comprises an interior decoration, while it is advantageously made of glass, but can be made of plastics material, such as, for example, thermoplastic polyesters (PET, PET-A, PET-G, ....), polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), polyolefin such as polyethylene (PE or PE-HD high-density polyethylene) or polypropylene (PP) , polystyrene (PS) or acrylic or hybrid material, such as, for example, a material marketed under the trademark Surlyn, or Abcite. The final barrier layer, to the deterioration of the perfume by the decorative layer, is inorganic, and as we have seen previously obtained by the so-called SOLGEL method, the product comprises a silica matrix (from 50 to 95%, preferentially 90%) and minerals such as Zircon, Titan, or a mixture thereof. It is also possible to add a dye of inorganic type such as graphite. The liquid sprayed to produce the final internal layer in contact with the perfume is an inorganic polymer which, thanks to the SOLGEL process, is obtained by simple chemical reactions and at a temperature close to ambient temperature (20 to 150 ° C.). The synthesis is carried out from alcoholates (liquid from the distillation of the alcohol on aromatic substrates), silicon and an alkyl organic group (molecules derived from hydrocarbons (alkanes) having only simple covalent bonds) . The basic reactions are carried out around the ambient temperature, it is therefore possible to associate organic parts with the mineral part without suffering from subsequent thermal degradation. This consists in dissolving the organic part in the synthesis solvent. The mineral gel is then formed taking into account the presence of the invited molecules. One limitation of this approach is the low proportion of organic inserted into the mineral network. The second possibility consists in using precursors comprising both hydrolysable functions that generate the silicate network and organic functions that remain grafted to the mineral skeleton. These organic links are bonded to silicon via an Si-C bond which is insensitive to hydrolysis. Depending on its nature, the organic part can play the role of trainer or modifier in analogy to trainers and modifiers of high-temperature glasses. Of course, the invention is not limited to the embodiments described and shown by way of example, but it also includes all technical equivalents as well as combinations thereof. 8
