Abstract

L'invention concerne un mât d'éclairage (1) comportant un corps allongé équipé d'au moins un moyen de diffusion de lumière (3) à fonction de balisage, et apte à porter au moins un moyen d'éclairage (2), tel qu'une lanterne, de puissance lumineuse supérieure à celle du moyen de diffusion de lumière (3) en un emplacement situé au-dessus du moyen de diffusion de lumière (3). Ce mât est caractérisé en ce que ledit moyen de diffusion de lumière (3) à fonction de balisage est formé par un bandeau de diodes électroluminescentes, appelées LEDs, ledit bandeau de LEDs entourant le corps dudit mât sur une plage angulaire sensiblement égale à 360°.
