Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a telescopic floor element used in the field of scaffolding, access and circulation bridges and any area where it is necessary to operate a profile guided by guides.
In the field of handling or access at height, telescopic extensions are known that support removable floors that make it possible to adapt the width of a work floor to the profile of a facade or a construction. These extensions are mostly manually operated by leaning and thus exposing themselves to vacuum. If they are controlled by a jack, the implementation of such a system is expensive and the forces induced by the jacks can have consequences on the stability of the work floors. In the invention the problem has been solved by installing a manual winch under the floor. According to FIGS. 1 and 2, a traction cable is fixed at one end of the telescopic extension (1), makes several turns around the winch (2), to come to rest at the other end of the telescopic extension (3). The manual winch is fixed on the extension guiding part, called guide or sheath (4) and has its control shaft (5) facing up (Figures 2 and 4) so that with the help of a crank (6) introduced into a hole (7) of the floor arranged for this purpose, it can rotate the drum in one direction or the other, according to the principle of going back and forth. One of the improvements of the invention is to place between an end of the cable and its attachment on the telescopic extension a tensioner (8) to lantern or a spring (9) to increase the adhesion of the cable on the drum. A second improvement of the invention is to provide the drum, (Figure 3) usually perfectly circular facets which may consist of concentric bars whose number may be between 2 and 8 for example (10). Thus, the adhesion of the cable to the winch is considerably increased because the elasticity of the cable makes it tend to want to remain as straight as possible so as to have the largest radii of curvature while they are constrained by forces pulling it from angle to facet angle.
Un quatrième perfectionnement de l'invention consiste à motoriser le treuil.10 This difference between its rope position at rest and its arc placement in traction creates a reserve of tension which makes it possible to maintain a very good adhesion although the cable is not perfectly stretched. A third improvement of the invention is to set up horizontal guides which allow the input cable to remain at one end of the drum (11) and the output cable to remain at the other end (12) in such a manner. that the windings do not overlap, which would have the effect of blocking the rotation of the winch. A fourth improvement of the invention consists in motorizing the winch.
