Abstract

Fabricating combustible material in the form of pellets or granulates, made of olive cake, comprises mixing 80-95 wt.% of the olive cake with 20-5 wt.% of wood residues to obtain a homogenous paste, molding the homogenous paste to obtain pellets of compact fuel, and drying the combustible material so that it has a moisture content of less than 15%, before using as fuel. An independent claim is included for the combustible material, made from the olive cake and obtained by the above process, comprising 80-98 wt.% of the olive cake and 20-5 wt.% of the wood residues.

Description

La présente invention concerne le domaine technique général des matériaux de combustion utilisant les grignons d'olives, à savoir les résidus de l'extraction d'huile d'olives par pression ou par centrifugation. La présente invention trouve des applications particulièrement avantageuses pour former un combustible utilisable dans tous types d'appareils de chauffage tels que cheminées, foyers ouverts, inserts ou chaudières utilisant habituellement le bois comme combustible. Dans l'art antérieur, il est connu d'utiliser les résidus des noyaux d'olives appelés également grignons d'olives de manière à pouvoir servir de combustibles. Il est ainsi connu de purifier les grignons d'olives avant leur torréfaction afin d'utiliser un tel matériau comme combustible. Ce matériau combustible ne donne pas satisfaction en pratique compte tenu de son faible pouvoir calorifique. La présente invention vise à remédier aux inconvénients de l'état de la technique en proposant une technique permettant de réaliser un matériau combustible à fort pouvoir calorifique et réalisé à partir de grignons d'olives.
