The invention relates to an organic fertilizer, a method of manufacture and a device for manufacturing said fertilizer. The object of the invention is to provide a completely natural organic fertilizer that is without chemicals. In addition, the proposed fertilizer meets the AFNOR NFU 42-001 / Al0 standard which defines nitrogenous organic fertilizers of animal and / or vegetable origin. Another object of the invention is to provide an industrial process for manufacturing an organic fertilizer. The proposed fertilizer thus makes it possible to respond to environmental constraints since it is a fertilizer obtained from 15 animal productions intended to protect the skin, also called dander. These include feathers of land birds such as feathers of chickens, hens, guinea fowl, turkeys, quails, and / or feathers of palmipeds such as ducks, geese, it may also be silk pigs. The manufacture of the fertilizer allows the recycling of the largest feathers or silk of pigs which, in general, are burned. According to the invention, the proposed fertilizer consists of animal products intended to protect the skin, that is to say, dander, dry and crushed. In order to limit manufacturing costs, animal productions intended to protect the skin (dander usually considered as waste) are introduced without prior sorting, in particular without sorting according to size, directly in the production line. This is particularly advantageous when it comes to feathers. In addition, the fertilizer manufacturing process proceeds without any cooking or water supply. To facilitate the spreading, the fertilizer is presented in the form of granules whose diameter can be between 2.5 mm and Ref: 0261-SOURG mm. Thus in this form, the fertilizer can be spread in the fields using seed drills, wheat seeders or maize. When the fertilizer is presented in the form of granules, it comprises in addition to the crushed feather, a binder in a proportion of 5% to 10% by weight, and 95% to 90% by weight of crushed dander. The binder is a natural product such as lignin sulfonate or molasses or clay. The animal productions intended to protect the skin, that is to say the superficial body growths, are feathers of terrestrial birds, for example feathers of chickens, hens, guinea fowl, turkeys, quails, and / or feathers of web-birds such as ducks, geese, or pig bristles. Another object of the invention relates to a method of manufacturing an organic fertilizer in which a fertilizer consisting of animal productions intended to protect the skin (or appendages), obtained by a step of grinding said animal productions, is produced. The method also makes it possible to manufacture the fertilizer in the form of granules and comprises for this purpose a step of adding a binder and mixing of the binder with the powder of animal productions intended to protect the skin and a stage of passage of the mixture. in a press to get out of the press, granules. Before grinding, the animal productions intended to protect the skin, dry and unsorted, are brewed to homogenize the incoming flow so that the animal productions of different size are well mixed, especially when it comes to natural feathers (birds terrestrial or palmiped). Pretreatment takes place in order to suppress any pathogen. This treatment consists of drying the animal productions (dander) at a minimum temperature of 120 ° C. to 133 ° C. for at least 20 minutes and then ventilating them to dry them. Ref: 0261-SOURG Other features and advantages of the invention will become clear from reading the description which is given below and which is given by way of illustrative and nonlimiting example and with reference to the diagram of FIG. 1 on which there is shown a device for manufacturing an organic fertilizer according to the present invention. According to the invention, the fertilizer is essentially composed of animal productions intended to protect the skin, that is to say, appendages. It may be land bird feathers such as for example feathers of chickens, hens, guinea fowl, turkeys, quails, and / or feathers of palmipeds such as ducks, geese, or pig bristles. Apart from the down, the feathers are generally waste, here they are recycled into organic fertilizer. The pig bristles also constitute waste, according to the present invention they can be recycled into organic fertilizer. In the following description, the manufacture of organic fertilizer from natural feathers of terrestrial birds or palmipeds was chosen as an example. There is no obstacle to using any feather mix to make the fertilizer as the feathers used are not necessarily sorted by size. The described method of manufacture is the same if the natural feather is replaced by pig bristles. The device described from the diagram of the figure corresponds to a production line which can include as input a drying system 1 of the pen. This system comprises a dryer 2 receiving the wet feather (leaving slaughterhouses) connected to a boiler 3 to hot air or steam. The dry feather is sucked out by a vacuum cleaner 4 so that it is injected into a cyclone 5 whose outlet discharges a dry feather. In the case where the feathers arrive already dry, the system will not be used or non-existent in the production line. Ref: 0261-SOURG The device has an inlet 10 for the dry pen and an outlet 112 or 140 for the fertilizer. The inlet 10 comprises a conveyor belt (treadmill) 11 on which unsorted dry feathers 12 are dumped.
The feathers 12 fall into a storage hopper 20. The feathers leaving the hopper 20, pass into a mixer 30 to be brewed so as to homogenize the assembly. The output of the mixer 30 allows the mixed feathers to be unwound on a conveyor belt 40 which conducts the mixture into a blade mill 50. To facilitate the transport of the ground feathers in the form of a powder, a suction system 60 is provided at the outlet of the mill 50 on the path 70 leading to a cyclone 80 associated with a dust collector 90. The powder is ventilated, the heavier grains fall to the bottom of the cyclone 80 and pass into a mixer 100, while the dust is recovered by the recuperator 90. The mixer 100 receives the crushed feather and a binder injected by an inlet 111. The binder is chosen so as to respect the environment. The binder may be lignin sulfonate or molasses, for example. A press 120 receives the crushed feather powder mixture agglomerated by the binder and delivers at its outlet 121 granules of appropriate size, defined by the outlet grid (s) 122 of the press 120. The presentation in the form of granules, allows easy fertilizer application from existing equipment, such as grain drills. At the outlet of the press the seeds heated by the pressure exerted in the press are cooled by an air inlet and ventilation by a cooler 130. Practically, the feathers arrive in a 50kg bag or in 300kg bales and are stored in a production area. Ref: 0261-SOURG Taken back by a handling machine, the bags are directed towards a loaded hoist, to pour the feathers on the conveyor belt 11 feeding the hopper 20 of buffer storage of 90m3.
Under the hopper 20, and after passing through the mixer 30, the conveyor belt 40 directs the pens to the blade mill 50. This mill is connected to the cyclone 80 with sluice, responsible for separating the main fraction of the fine particles sucked up and then trapped in The main fraction drops to the bottom of the cyclone where it is taken up by a screw feeding a mixer 100. At this level, the injection of 5% binder is then carried out from a 1000 liter cubitainer, by automatic dosing. . The mixture is then directed by automatic conveying to the press 120 ensuring the extrusion of the granules, without water and heating. The cooler 130 is then responsible for lowering the temperature of the pellets by providing air and ventilation; at this level, a device 131 sucks the dust back to the pellet press.
Finally, the packaging is carried out either with the aid of an automatic bagging machine or in bags of 500kg to 1000kg in resistant synthetic fabric, or in paper bags sewn from 5 to 25kg of granules. The bags can be palletized and then coated with a streamer.
Ref : 0261-SOURG The fertilizer thus obtained represents a 14% nitrogen input. In addition to the problems of respect for the environment, the proposed fertilizer is very easy to use because it presents no danger vis-à-vis the vegetation. Indeed, even in case of over dosage the fertilizer does not burn the plants unlike chemical fertilizers. Ref: 0261-SOURG
