The invention relates to an element made by molding in a two-part mold of a thermo-injected plastic material, a mold and a method of manufacturing such an element.
The invention relates to an element made by molding in a two-part mold of a thermo-injected plastic material, said element comprising at least one attachment lug which is pierced by a piercing of axis and of determined diameter intended to enable fixation. said tab, said axis forming an acute angle with the opening direction of the mold. Many elements of this type are known. The manufacture of an element in which the axis of the piercing of the ear is parallel to the opening direction of the mold does not pose particular problems. Indeed, in this configuration, the hole is obtained via a pin carried by a portion of the mold, which is received in the other part of the mold. The separation of the two parts of the mold allows the automatic extraction of the element thus produced. This is not the case when the axis of the piercing forms an acute angle with the opening direction of the mold. In this case at least one removable pin is intended to pass through the two mold parts to perform the drilling. The demolding of the element therefore requires a removal of the spindle prior to the separation of the two parts of the mold.
The invention overcomes this disadvantage by providing an element of the type described above that can be obtained from a simple two-part mold. For this purpose, the invention proposes an element of the type described above, characterized in that the drilling is formed, during the molding of the element, by the union of two complementary beveled pins of general axis and of diameter corresponding to those of the pierce to be obtained, which are each carried by an associated part of the mold, the bevels of which are contiguous along a first part of the plane of joint of the mold parallel to the direction of opening of the mold and extend according to the whole of the length and diameter of the hole. The invention also proposes a mold for producing an element of the type described above. More particularly, the invention proposes a mold for the thermo-injection molding of an element comprising at least one attachment lug traversed by a drilling of axis and of determined diameter, characterized in that it comprises: first part from which protrudes a first beveled pin of general axis and diameter corresponding to those of the bore to be obtained, - a second part from which protrudes a second beveled pin of general axis and corresponding diameter 15 to those of the pierce to be obtained, which are separable in a determined opening direction and in that the bevels of the first and second spindles, when the mold is closed, are contiguous along a first portion of the joint plane of the mold parallel to the 20 direction of opening of the mold and extend along the entire length and diameter of the bore to obtain, to allow the demolding of the ear and of its piercing during the separation of the first and second part according to the determined opening direction.
According to another characteristic of the mold, the joint plane comprises at least a second part which is coplanar with one of the mold parts, and a third part of junction interposed between the first part and the second part. Finally, the invention relates to a thermo-injection molding process, in a mold in two parts separable according to a determined opening direction, of an element comprising at least one attachment lug which is pierced by a piercing hole. axis and determined diameter, said axis forming an acute angle with the opening direction of the mold. According to the invention, this method comprises: a first step of molding the element, its ear and its associated piercing during which a first portion and a second portion of the mold are assembled carrying first and second beveled pins; complementary associates of general axis and diameter corresponding to those of the pierce to be obtained, so that their bevels are joined in a first part of the mold joint plane parallel to the opening direction of the mold and extend according to the the entire length and diameter of the piercing; a second step during which the plastic material is injected into the mold; a third step during which the first and second parts of the mold are separated in the direction of the mold; determined opening. Other features and advantages of the invention will appear on reading the detailed description which follows for the understanding of which reference will be made to the appended drawings in which: FIG. 1 is a perspective view of an element according to FIG. FIG. 2 is a sectional view of the two parts of a mold according to the invention shown in an open position; - Figure 3 is a sectional view of the two parts of a mold according to the invention shown in closed position prior to the injection of a plastic material; FIG. 4 is a sectional view of the two parts of a mold according to the invention shown in a closed position during the injection of a plastic material; 4 - Figure 5 is a sectional view of the two parts of a mold according to the invention shown in open position during demolding of the element. In the following description, like reference numerals designate like parts or having similar functions. FIG. 1 shows an element 10 made by molding in a mold 11 in two parts 12, 14 of a thermo-injected plastic material. In known manner, the element 10 has at least one attachment lug 16 which is pierced by a bore 18 of axis "A" and of diameter "D" determined, which is determined to allow the attachment of said lug 16 In known manner, as illustrated in FIGS. 3 to 5, the mold 11 can be opened by spreading its two parts 12, 14 in a direction "B" .The axis "A" of the bore 18 of FIG. the lug 16 forms an acute angle with the mold opening direction "B." Conventionally, such an element 10 can be realized only with the use of a movable spindle (not shown) interposed between the parts 12 and 14 of the mold 11, intended to form the bore 18. This configuration therefore does not allow a direct obtaining of the element 10 during the separation of the portions 12 and 14 of the mold 11. The invention overcomes this disadvantage.
Indeed, according to the invention, and as illustrated in FIGS. 3 to 5, the piercing 18 is formed, during the molding of the element 10, by the union of two complementary beveled pins 20, 22 general "A" and of diameter "D" corresponding to those of the borehole 18 to be obtained, which are each borne by an associated part 1 2, 1 4 of the mold 1 1, whose bevels 24, 26 are joined in a first part 28 of the plane "P" of the mold 11 parallel to the opening direction "B" of the mold and extend along the entire length "L" and the diameter "D" of the bore 18. This solution allows the element 10 to be obtained directly during the separation of the parts 12 and 14 of the mold 11, as shown in Figures 4 and 5. The element 10 is the direct result of the use of a specific mold 11 . As illustrated in FIG. 2, which represents the two parts 12, 14 of the mold 11 before closing, the mold 11 thus comprises a first portion 12 from which a first beveled pin 20 of general axis "A "and diameter" D "corresponding to those of the drilling to obtain. The mold 11 also comprises a second portion 14 from which a second pin 22 beveled with a general axis "A" and a diameter "D" corresponding to that of the bore to be obtained, which is complementary to the pin 20. The assembly of the two pins 20, 22 along their bevels 24, 26 in the closed position of the mold 11, which has been shown in FIG. 3, makes it possible to produce a cylinder of length "L" and diameter "D" , interposed between the portions 12 and 14 of the mold 11, able to determine the shapes of the bore 18. It is obvious that it is essential the mold 11 can be opened. For this purpose, to prevent the molded material from opposing the opening of the mold 11, a conventional feature of the mold 11 is that the pins 20, 22 are separable in a defined opening direction "B" of the mold. Mold 11. It is furthermore necessary that the bevels 24, 26 of the first spindle 20 and second spindle 22, when the mold 11 is closed as shown in FIG. 3, are joined along a first portion 28 of the joint plane "P". of the mold 11 which is parallel to the opening direction "B" of opening of the mold 11 and that they extend along the entire length "L" and the diameter "D" of the bore 18 to be obtained. This configuration allows the release 16 of the lug 16 and its bore 18 during the separation of the first and second parts 12, 14 in the determined opening direction of the mold 11. Advantageously, the joint plane "P" comprises at at least a second portion 30 which is coplanar with one of the mold portions 14, and a third joint or connection portion 32 which is interposed between the first portion 28 and the second portion 30 of the joint plane "P". A face 34 of the lug 16 is thus determined by the portion 12 of the mold 11 and the other face of the lug 16 is determined by the portion 14 of the mold 11. In this configuration, an element 10 of the type previously described can thus easily be achieved by implementing a method comprising: a first step of preparing the mold 11, 15 represented in FIG. 3, during which a first portion 12 and a second portion 14 of the mold 11 carrying first pin 20 and second pin 22 additional associated bevels of general axis "A" and diameter "D" corresponding to those of the bore to be obtained, so that their bevels 24, 26 are contiguous along a first portion 28 of the plane "P" of mold seal 11 parallel to the opening direction "B" of opening of mold 11 and extend along the entire length "L" and diameter "D" of the bore, - a second injection step, shown in Figure 4, 25 during which the plastic material is injected into the mold 11, a third demolding step, represented in FIG. 5, during which the first and second parts 12, 14 of the mold 11 are separated in the direction "B" of 30 opening determined. The invention thus makes it possible to simply and effectively make a hole 18 in an element 10 when the "A" axis of said piercing forms an acute angle with the opening direction "B" of the two parts 12, 14 of a mold 11.
