L'invention concerne un tricycle entraîné au moins partiellement par la force musculaire, comportant :- un plateau autoportant (100) en matériau léger comportant un plan de symétrie longitudinal,- une roue avant (101), montée sur une fourche (102) pivotant autour d'un axe,- deux roues arrière (103a, 103b), montées sur un mécanisme de suspension et entraînées par un ensemble de propulsion,- un guidon (104) monté sur un arbre de direction (105), ledit arbre de direction comportant des moyens de liaison avec ladite fourche pour l'entraîner en rotation,- un pédalier (109), entraînant ledit ensemble de propulsion par le biais de moyens de transmission,- un siège (106).La fourche (102), le mécanisme de suspension, l'ensemble de propulsion, l'arbre de direction (105), le pédalier (109) et le siège (106) sont constitués par des modules structurellement indépendants fixés sur ledit plateau autoportant (100).
