Description

1 1

The present invention relates to a device for filtering rainwater before retention or recovery while losing as little water as possible and eliminating impurities most effectively. The filtration of rainwater before retention or recovery is traditionally carried out using a flat horizontal grid or cylindrical located in the continuity of the rainwater inlet pipe. Water flows on a grid that filters out impurities. The problem is the following: In case of low flow, the water flow is not sufficient to remove the impurities. The slope is insufficient, there is no runoff on the grid to allow them to escape naturally. There is therefore a risk of collemating. In case of high flow, the filtration surface is no longer sufficient. The grid saturates and the loss of water is important. The device according to the invention overcomes these disadvantages. It comprises in fact according to a first characteristic, an inclined grid, of semi-cylindrical shape with a conical base (funnel effect). This inclination makes it easier to evacuate the impurities blocked by the grid. The second feature of the device is the arrival of water perpendicular to the grid. This positioning of the pipe allows the water to pass directly through the grid.

At the same time, the conical-based semi-cylindrical shape of the grid provides a variable filtration area depending on the volume of water on arrival. The water spreads on the grid surface in proportion to its flow. The surface of the grid is optimized and allows optimal collection of water. The inclination of the grate promotes minimal runoff. It is this runoff that promotes the evacuation of impurities filtered by the grid. Whatever the volume of water on arrival, the amount of water lost through runoff is constant. The accompanying drawings illustrate the invention: FIG. 1 represents in section the device of the invention. With reference to these drawings, the grid (1) situated inside a receptacle is of semi-cylindrical shape with a conical base (funnel effect) with a lowered part (2) allowing the positioning of the rainwater inlet pipe. (3). The widest part of the grid (4) is positioned against the wall of the receptacle; its shape perfectly matches that of the wall of the receptacle. The grid (1) is crimped in its periphery with a rubber seal (5) which creates a seal between the wall of the receptacle and the grid. Thus, no body can pass between the grid and the wall of the receptacle. This device therefore also has an anti-rat function.

The narrowest base (6) of the grid is positioned in the drain pipe of the impurities. The bottom of the grid is crimped with a rubber seal (7) which fits around the edge of the impurity outlet pipe (8). This seal ensures good adhesion of the grid in the pipe and prevents impurities or rodents from escaping via the filtered water collector.

The rainwater arrives via a pipe (3) perpendicular to the highest part of the grid (4). The amount of water projected on the grid (1) passes through whatever the flow. The semi-cylindrical conical base of the grid allows the water to spread on the surface of the grid in proportion to the flow. The inclination of the grid (1) allows a constant and minimal amount of water to flow and cause the impurities filtered by the grid (1) in the outlet pipe (8).

Par conséquent, la taille du réceptacle contenant le dispositif de filtration est adaptée à la taille du filtre.20 The opening of the filtered water outlet pipe (9) to a storage receptacle is below the level of that of the impurity outlet pipe (8). Thus in case of very high flow the receptacle containing the filtration device can store a portion of the filtered water without risk of loss. According to a variant not illustrated, the shape of the grid may be semi-cylindrical and inclined to fit in an outlet orifice of conical impurities. The device according to the invention is particularly intended for the filtration of rainwater. The size of the filtration device is sized according to the diameter of the rainwater inlet pipe. As a result, the size of the receptacle containing the filtration device is adapted to the size of the filter.
