Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a cylindrical grinding rotor having a peripheral surface provided with projecting hammers. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION These rotors are generally used in grinders and in particular stone grinders comprising a frame on which at least one rotor is mounted to rotate opposite a fixed anvil to smash the stones by means of protruding hammers. on the rotor and brushing against the fixed Glume. The hammers are usually attached to the circumferential surface of the rotor in housings thereof by means of bolts which are received in diametrical holes of the rotor and which pass through the rotor. Such grinding rotors have a relatively short life, the stresses to which are put the rotor and hammers causing the breaking of the attachment thereof to the rotor. In addition, the realization of diametrical holes receiving fastening bolts is delicate and relatively long. It is therefore interesting to have a simple and robust way of fixing the hammers to the rotor. The document FR 2.801.812 proposes a solution don-nant satisfaction except as regards its size. Indeed, the stirrup-shaped flange which surrounds both the hammer and the fixed abutment of the rotor is large volume, which makes the heavy fixation to handle and limits the density of the tools around the drum.
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to an alternative embodiment of these fastening means which has the advantage of offering the connection of the hammer to the rotor, an elasticity having a damping function of the blows received by the hammer during the grinding work.
For this purpose, the subject of the invention is a cylindrical grinding rotor having a peripheral surface, comprising - at least one abutment which is welded to the peripheral surface and which has front and rear faces with reference to a direction of rotation of the rotor , the front face comprising a lower surface substantially tangential to the rotor and a cylindrical nose, of axis parallel to and remote from said lower surface, - at least one hammer having a base surmounted by cutting tools, the base comprising a front face and a rear face, the latter having a lower surface to cooperate with the lower tangential surface of the abutment and a rear cradle provided with a concave cylindrical surface in correspondence with that of the nose and a hammer fixing means on the rotor to apply the lower surface of the base and the rear cradle of this tool against the corresponding surfaces of the abutment, wherein the n of fixing is constituted by a screw passing through the base of the hammer and the stop, above its lower surface for the base and between the nose and the lower surface of the stop, the front end of the screw being provided a cross member of length substantially equal to the dimension of the base taken in the direction of the axis of the rotor and having opposite said base a cylindrical surface to cooperate with a corresponding surface of the front face of the base, in the form of a cradle, the rear end of the screw being threaded to receive a nut bearing cylindrical or spherical support on a correspondingly shaped part of the rear face of the abutment, thus forming with the screw a fixing bolt hammer on the rotor. The support of the hammer on the rotor is provided by an elastic member, the bolt, which makes it possible to create an internal damping of the strokes received during grinding by the cutting tools. The clearance between the screw and the base and stop it passes through is sufficient to allow a small angular movement of the screw in this housing. The clamping of the hammer against the abutment can be carried out in a controlled manner and the bolt can comprise, in connection with the rear part of the abutment, a means (nut brake) known in itself to prevent the spontaneous unscrewing of the nut. .
Preferably, the crosspiece of the screw has a frontal surface, opposite to that cylindrical applied against the hammer, shaped as a convex shield. This front profiling makes it possible to better preserve the crossing of impacts during grinding.
Other features and advantages of the invention will appear on reading the description given below of an embodiment of the invention. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS Reference is made to the accompanying drawings, in which: FIG. 1 is a partial and schematic perspective view of a hammer stop assembly intended for the rotor according to the invention, FIG. 2 is a view of FIG. profile of this set-25 ble. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION In a known manner, the rotor 1 represented in these figures is cylindrical with an axis 2 and has a peripheral surface 3 projecting from which are fixed marks generally designated 4 (only one of which is visible to the figures). The hammers are distributed on the peripheral surface 3 of the rotor 1 in different transverse planes and with an angular offset from one plane to another. Each hammer 4 comprises grinding tools 5 here at the number of three (5a, 5b, 5c), integral with a base 6.
This base has a front face 7, under the grinding tools which is in the form of cylindrical front cradle 7a whose axis is substantially parallel to the axis 2 of the rotor 1. The rear face 8 of the base comprises a lower surface 8a, parallel to the axis of the cradle and a cylindrical rear cradle 8b, remote from the surface 8a and substantially at the base of the tools 5 in the base 6. Each hammer 4 is attached to the rotor via a stop 9 welded to the surface of the rotor. This stop constitutes the attachment and support part of the corresponding hammer and is shaped to perform these functions. For this purpose, it has a front face 10, which has a low flat portion 10a adjacent to the outer surface of the rotor and a cylindrical nose 10b remote outwardly of the lower surface 10a. When the hammer 4 is pressed against the stop, the surface 10a of the latter receives the surface 8a of the hammer base while the nose 10b is housed in the rear cradle 8b of the hammer. The base and the stop are provided with a through hole, 11 in the tool and 12 in the stop, in which, when aligned, a screw 14 can be housed with a relatively large clearance of the order of two millimeters on the radius. This screw carries as head a cross member 15 with a cylindrical surface 15a to be received by the front cradle 7a of the base 6. The axis of the screw forms an angle with the plane of the surface 8a. The rear face 16 of the abutment 9, perpendicular to the axis of the hole 12, comprises a spherical or cylindrical portion 16a which constitutes the bearing face for the correspondingly shaped face 17a of a nut 17 (or a washer intermediate) which cooperates with the screw 14 to bolt the hammer 4 on the stop 9. A nut brake can be placed between the screw and the nut.
Note that the cross 15 has 15b and 15c leveling at each of its ends, which conforms its outer surface in a kind of shield that reduces the impact of impact during shocks with stones or more generally the material to be ground. It is understood that the tightening of the nut against the rear face 16 of the abutment generates an adjustable tension in the screw 14 which plates the hammer 4 against the stop, in particular against its two separate bearing surfaces 10a and 10b. This support is elastic and shocks on the tool tend to rotate around the nose 10b. They are encased with damping by the screw which elongates by pi-voting slightly around the spherical or cylindrical surfaces 16a, 17a. The assembly is thus better adapted to the conditions to which it is subjected. The invention is not limited to the stone crusher but is applicable to other types of crushers such as grinders of plants, forest crushers.
