The present invention relates to a mechanism for deploying an armature, in particular a tent frame, and for maintaining this armature in the deployed position. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, a known tent frame 1A comprises posts 2A and scissors 3A connecting two adjacent posts 2A. The armature 1A may include four posts 2A arranged in a square and four scissors 3A. The upper ends of the branches of each chisel 3A are pivotally connected to parts 4A attached to the upper ends of the posts 2A, and the lower ends of these legs are pivotally connected to the sleeves 5A sliding along the posts 2A. The deployment of the tent is effected by sliding the sleeves 5A along the posts 2A, from a bending position of the armature 1A, wherein these sleeves 5A are located at the bottom of the posts 2A, to a position of unfolding this armature, in which the sleeves 5A are locked in a higher position (see Figure 2). The posts 2A have in particular a telescopic structure. On the known armatures 1A, the sleeves 5A are held in place by various means, in particular by engagement of sliding fingers 20 in corresponding holes. These tent frames have the disadvantage of requiring substantial efforts for their deployment. Indeed, the supply of a sleeve 5A in the upper locking position requires the use of both hands of a user, one hand holding the upper part of the post 2A or the part 4A and the other hand pushing the sleeve 5A upwards. In addition, the effort required to lock a sleeve 5A is important given the resistance generated by the tensioning of the tent on the last part of the race of this sleeve, and the fact that the canvas, stretched the along the pole, hinders the progress of the sleeve at the approach of the locking position of this sleeve. The present invention aims to remedy these essential disadvantages. The mechanism it concerns applies to an armature comprising at least one pole and a sleeve sliding along this pole, this sleeve being intended to be immobilized relative to the pole in a locking position by engagement of a finger of locking in a corresponding locking hole. According to the invention, the mechanism comprises: - a slider associated with a spring, movable between a normal locking position, in which it holds the locking finger in an unlocking position, and an unlocking position, in which it releases this finger, allowing him to come into his locking position; means for automatically actuating the slide from said locking position to said unlocking position when the sleeve is approaching its locking position position; and unlocking means for the sleeve enabling the finger to be brought into said position of locking. unlocking this finger and allowing the automatic return of the slide in the locking position. The slider is thus normally in said locking position along the movement path of the sleeve along the post, holding the locking finger in said unlocking position of said finger; when the sleeve approaches its locking position, the slide is automatically brought to the unlocking position by said operating means, releasing the finger; the finger can thus come into its locking position, in cooperation with the locking hole, when the sleeve is in the locking position; when folding the armature, the sleeve unlocking means are actuated to bring the finger into said unlocking position and allow the automatic return of the slide in the locking position, thereby releasing the sleeve. The mechanism according to the invention makes it possible to automatically lock the sleeve in the locked position, which does not require the use of both hands of a user and can therefore be realized more easily than with a mechanism according to the prior art. Preferably, said operating means comprise a lug 30 secured to the slide and a wall meeting this lug when the sleeve approaches its locking position. Preferably, the means for unlocking the sleeve comprise a lever connected to the locking pin, and a spring acting on this lever, the spring biasing the lever so that it tends to bring the finger towards the locking position of this lever. finger, and the lever being operable to, against the elastic force of this spring, bring the finger in said unlocked position of the finger. Preferably, the slider and the locking pin are mounted on the sleeve, this slider coming, in said locking position, covering the end of the finger intended to be engaged in the locking hole; - The slide comprises said lug, projecting laterally from the sleeve, and - the post comprises the actuating wall of the lug, the lug 10 comes into contact when the sleeve approaches said locking position. According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, in this case, the sleeve forms a cage adapted to receive the slider and the actuating spring of this slider; Said pin is formed by a pin that can be driven through a hole that includes the slide and be engaged through a light arranged laterally in a wall of the cage, this pin having a length such that it is protruding beyond this cage; the cage is extended by an upper barrel receiving the locking finger; and - said lever is pivotally mounted on the cage, the spring associated with this lever bearing against the cage, on the one hand, and against the lever, on the other. Preferably, said frame comprises a fabric and the post comprises a boss projecting radially on its side along which this fabric extends, this boss making it possible to move the fabric away from the sleeve when the fabric is stretched, that is, when the sleeve arrives near its locking position. This fabric does not interfere with the sleeve at the approach of said locking position. In the preferred embodiment of the invention described above, the post comprises an upper sleeve forming said boss and also forming said actuating wall of the slider. The invention will be better understood, and other features and advantages thereof will become apparent with reference to the accompanying drawing, showing, by way of non-limiting example, a preferred embodiment of the mechanism it relates. Figure 3 is an exploded perspective view of a sleeve and various parts therein; Figure 4 is a side view of the sleeve and these parts, the sleeve being engaged on the pole and being in an unlocked position; Figure 5 is a view similar to Figure 4, in longitudinal section passing through the axis of the pole; Figure 6 is a view similar to Figure 4 of the sleeve in the locking position on the pole; FIG. 7 is a view similar to FIG. 6, in longitudinal section passing through the axis of the column, and FIG. 8 is a sectional view along the line VIII - VIII of FIG.
Figures 6 to 8 show a mechanism 1 for deploying a tent frame, and for maintaining this frame in the deployed position. The armature is of the type described with reference to Figures 1 to 3, these figures showing the upper part of one of the posts 2, the sleeve 5 sliding on the post 2 and the tent fabric 100 stretched on this frame.
The mechanism 1 comprises a part 10 fixed on the post 2 and a set of parts mounted on the sleeve 5. As shown in the figures, particularly in FIG. 8, said part 10 comprises a part 11 forming a sleeve, which can be engaged in an adjusted manner. on the post 2, and a portion 12 forming a boss which protrudes radially on the side of the post 2 along which the web 100 extends. The part 11 forms, on the opposite side to the part 12, two wings 13 constituting stoppers for pins that comprises the sleeve 5. These wings 13 allow, as shown in the comparison of Figures 4 and 5, on the one hand, and 6 and 7, on the other hand, to move these pins in a light that also includes this sleeve 5. It also appears in Figures 6 and 7 that, thanks to the portion 12 forming a boss, the piece 10 allows to move the canvas 100 of the post 2 at the locking zone of the sleeve 5 on post 2. This canvas 100 does not interfere e therefore not with the sliding of the sleeve 5 along the pole 2 when the sleeve is at the approach of this locking zone and in the latter. With reference to FIGS. 3 to 4, it appears that the sleeve 5 comprises, besides lower scissor assembly screeds (not shown), a cage 15 and a barrel 16, and that it comprises a slider 20 associated with a spring 21 , and a locking pin 22 connected to a lever 23 associated with a spring 24. The cage 15 comprises, on each lateral side, two slots 25 and internally forms a wall integral with a pin 26 (see FIG. The lower end of the spring 21 can be engaged. The slider 20 comprises two lower lugs intended to be engaged and slidable in the lower slots and a hole through which a pin 27 is to be driven, this pin 27 also passing through the upper slots and protruding therefrom, so that its ends constitute the aforementioned pins. The spring 21 is a helical spring and is interposed between the wall of the cage 15 comprising the pin 26 and the slider 20. The locking pin 22 is engaged in the barrel 16. It is connected to the lever 23 by a pin 28. 20 The lever 23 is pivotally mounted on the cage 15, by engagement of a pin 29 through respective holes that include the cage and the lever. The spring 24 is a leaf spring which is supported against walls that form the cage 15, on the one hand, and against the portion of the lever 23 opposite the locking finger 22 relative to the pin 29. The assembly of the different said parts is made by positioning the spring 21 and the slider 20 in their respective locations of the cage 15, by driving the pin 27 through the hole of the slider 20, connecting the finger 22 to the lever 23, then, the spring 24 being in place in this lever, 30 by positioning the lever 23 on the cage 15 and by driving the pin 29 through the respective holes of the cage 15 and the lever 23. In practice, the aforementioned parts are, when the sleeve 5 does not. is not locked to the post 2, in the positions shown in Figures 4 and 5, namely that: - the slider 20 is then in a normal locking position, in which it covers the end of the finger 22 intended to come into engagement in a lock hole corresponding hole arranged in the post 2; the lugs formed by the spindle 27 are located in the upper part of the upper lumen; the finger 22 is in an erased, unlocking position, in which it is outside the locking hole, and the lever 23 is in a pivoting position in which its upper end is remote from the pole 2. When the sleeve 5 approaching its locking position, said lugs meet the wings 13 of the part 10, causing the slider 20 to move from its locking position to an unlocking position, against the elastic force of the spring 21. This displacement the slide 20 releases the finger 22, and thus the pivoting of the lever 23 which, under the action of the spring 24, causes the finger 22 to penetrate into the locking hole when said locking position is reached. To unlock the mechanism 1, a pressure is exerted manually on the lower part of the lever 23 so as to rotate this lever to bring it back to the position shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, thereby making the finger 22 of the locking hole and the return of the slide 20 in its locking position shown in Figures 4 and 5, under the action of the spring 21. As apparent from the foregoing, the invention provides a mechanism for deploying a reinforcement, in particular of a tent frame, and of maintaining this frame in deployed position, presenting the decisive advantages of not requiring the substantial efforts to deploy the tent, in particular not requiring, when deployment, the use of both hands of a user, and facilitate the supply of a sleeve 5 in the locking position notwithstanding the resistance to the sliding generated by the tensioning of the tent canvas.
It goes without saying that the invention is not limited to the embodiment described above by way of example but that it extends to all embodiments covered by the appended claims.
