Appareil électrique de coupure à connexion haute et basse Electrical switchgear with high and low connection
The present invention relates to a breaker-type electrical breaking apparatus, placed on a neutral line and at least one phase line or on phase lines and comprising an electronic circuit providing at least one differential function. The apparatus of the invention must be able to be connected indifferently from the top or from the bottom, that is to say that the user must be able to freely choose the side connected to the network. Connection habits differ from one country to another, even in the same country.
The various controls and tests carried out on the devices must then be able to be implemented under the same conditions for the two types of possible connections. Thus, for example, the dielectric test carried out between phase and neutral downstream of the device, ie on the opposite side to the connection to the network: the devices must be designed to comply with it regardless of the downstream side resulting from the chosen network connection. Moreover, for a product having a differential function in the form of an electronic circuit powered between phase and neutral or between two phases, international standards recommend the existence of a push button for testing the circuit. The current standards provide for extended support for a defined period of time without producing negative effects on the electronic circuit. This button is connected in parallel to the electronic circuit. In a conventional configuration connectable on one side provided in advance, to avoid any risk of destruction, the entire electronic circuit / test button is connected downstream of the fixed and movable contacts by reference to the supply side. For economic reasons, especially in order to develop only a range of products available for both types of market, the interest of a device connectable from the top and the bottom, that is to say indifferently by the connection devices present on both sides, is obvious. This is the object of the present invention. For this purpose, the developed electrical apparatus, conventionally comprising: an electronic circuit providing at least one differential function, supplied between the neutral line and a phase line or between two phase lines; - On each line, two connecting devices and a pair of contacts respectively fixed and mobile; and a mechanical trigger lock comprising Ln door movable contacts and actuated by an operating member is primarily characterized in that the electronic circuit is connected on the side of the movable contact on one of the line, and the side of the fixed contact on the other 5 line. The result is a cross-feed of the electronic circuit, which gives some form of symmetry in the optics of an undifferentiated power supply. This crossover also responds to the various problems posed above, allowing in particular the realization of a dielectric test between phase and neutral 10 in the two connection hypotheses and the prolonged maintenance of the test button closed in the context of the test of said circuit. Furthermore, according to the invention, an additional switch is placed between the connection to a phase line and the electronic circuit, whose opening / closing position is slaved and corresponds to the position of the movable contacts. This switch makes it possible to perform the second dielectric test carried out for this type of product, between the upstream and the downstream, as well as to prohibit the putting into potential of the downstream lines in case of pressing on the test button. Its mechanical servocontrol to the displacement of the contacts, enabling it to reflect the opening or closing position of the main contacts of the circuit breaker, is such that it preferably closes shortly before closing the mechanical lock, and opens little after the latter, so as to avoid any risk of disjunction for example due to the electromagnet of the electronic circuit. The test push button is placed in series with a resistor, the assembly being connected in parallel with the electronic circuit. This so-called test resistor is provided for calibrating the test current. The fact that the test resistor and the additional switch are placed in series makes it possible, during a prolonged press on the test button, to open the supply circuit of the electronic circuit and the downstream circuit, and thus to limit the exposure time of the test current resistance. The energy passing through the resistance is consequently limited. According to one possibility, the switch consists of a flexible conductive rod whose one end is fixed and the other end, free, is driven in contact with a conductive pin connected to the electronic circuit at the closure of the movable contacts . Alternatively, this may be at the opening of the moving contacts.
According to one assumption, the free end of the conductive rod is driven by the movable contact carrier. Alternatively, this rod can be driven by a carriage movable in translation, moved by the movable contact door against a return spring. In the case where the electrical apparatus is bipolar phase-neutral, it comprises a medial wall separating the circuit breaker part of the electronic circuit, a window made in said wall then allowing the guiding of an outgrowth of the contact holder or the movable carriage, the flexible rod and the pin being arranged on a plate supporting the electronic circuit, in general a printed circuit. In the case of the carriage, the window made in the wall can be closed permanently by the carriage, which closes the access between the sides respectively circuit breaker and electronic circuit, and reduces the potential impacts of a function on the other . Conversely, when the conductive flexible rod is directly driven by the movable contact carrier, more specifically by an outgrowth thereof moving in said window, a portion of the surface thereof remains open, which has an impact on the disjunction function. Pollution can also be generated on the side of the volume devolved to the differential function. The invention will now be described in more detail with reference to the appended figures, in which: FIG. 1 is a simplified electrical diagram of the electrical configuration of the apparatus according to the invention; - Figures 2 and 3 show, in perspective view, a configuration of the invention wherein the conductive flexible rod is actuated by an outgrowth of the contact carrier, respectively in the open position and closure of the additional switch; Figure 4 shows, still in perspective view, a modified contact holder for this purpose; Figure 5 shows a solution according to which the flexible rod is driven by a carriage movable in translation; FIG. 6 represents a contact carrier and a carriage that can cooperate in the solution of FIG. 5; and Figure 7 shows a variant of Figure 1 devoid of the additional coil passing through the torus.
FIG. 1 schematizes a phase (L) -neutral (N) differential circuit breaker whose differential function is provided by an electronic circuit (PCBA) supplied between phase and neutral, and at the terminals of which is placed a test push button (1) connected in series with a resistor (2). This electronic circuit (PCBA) comprises in particular a core (3) crossed by the phase line (L) and neutral (N) constituting the primary of a transformer whose secondary winding (4) delivers, in case of imbalance in primary currents, a signal processed by the electronic circuit (PCBA). The disjunction function is provided in the traditional manner by pairs of fixed (5, 5 ') and movable (6, 6') contacts arranged respectively on the neutral (N) and phase (L) lines. According to the invention, an additional switch (7) is arranged between the phase (L) and the supply of the electronic circuit (PCBA) on the phase side. FIG. 1 clearly shows the crossed supply, the electronic circuit (PCBA) being connected to the neutral (N) and to the phase (L) respectively on one side and the other of the pairs of fixed contacts (5, 5 ' ) and mobiles (6, 6 '). In this configuration, it is perfectly possible to feed the product, namely in this case the phase-neutral differential circuit breaker, either at the top or at the bottom. The existence of the switch (7) avoids "burn" the electronic circuit when the test function is implemented by pressing the push button (1). This configuration also protects the product during dielectric tests performed by installers. From a practical point of view, according to a possibility that is particularly the subject of FIG. 2, the invention is implemented using a flexible conductive rod (8) fixed (for example by welding), on a printed circuit (9) supporting the electronic circuit (PCBA). In the differential circuit breaker shown in Figure 2, the outer insulating casing (B) is shown partially cut away from the side of the electronic circuit for explanatory purposes, the interior volume is divided in half by a median partition (10). Behind this partition (10) is a conventional circuit breaker, with its mechanical trigger lock (not visible), its control handle (11) and its respective magnetic and thermal trip motors (not visible). The visible volume contains the electronic circuit (PCBA) as well as one of the connection devices (12) of the product.
Without going into details that do not constitute the invention itself, the printed circuit supports a magnetic core (3) whose primary winding is constituted by the phase and neutral wires (N, L), and a electromagnet (13) for triggering the lock (located in the hidden volume devolved to the disjunction function) in case of imbalance of currents in the phase and the neutral. The test button (1) also actuates a metal rod (14) in contact with a rigid conductor (15) protruding from the printed circuit (9). A window (16) is formed in the medial wall (10). A protrusion (17) of the contact holder is provided to move in said window (16). This protrusion (17), when it moves to the right with reference to this figure, drives the flexible rod (8) in contact with a conductive rigid portion (18) of the phase wire protruding from the printed circuit (9).
Figure 2 shows the switch (7) in the open position, that is to say that the flexible conductive rod (8) is not in contact with the conductive portion (18). In this case, given the slaving and the correspondence between the position of the movable contacts and that of the switch (7), the movable contacts (6, 6 ') are in the open position of the contacts of the circuit breaker. Referring to Figure 3, said flexible rod (8) is pushed by the projection (17) of the contact carrier to the conductor portion (18): the switch (7) (see Figure 1) and the movable contacts are in the closed position. FIG. 4 gives an overview of the contact holder (19) equipping the lock of the product, with its protrusion (17) intended to pass through the window (16) to protrude from the printed circuit (9) side of the electronic circuit (PCBA) and to drive the flexible rod (8). Figures 5 and 6 show a possible alternative to the configuration of Figures 2 to 4, using a carriage (20) provided with a pin (21) actuating the flexible rod (8). A spring (22) allows the carriage to return to the initial position when the movable contacts are in the open position. The advantage of this configuration, compared to that proposed in Figures 2 to 4, lies in the permanent closure of the window (16), leading in particular to reduce the disadvantages of the opening at the time of cutting in the circuit breaker space, because it avoids the pollution of the differential stage generated by said cut, because of carbon particles / metal vaporized during the latter. In both cases, the lock of the circuit breaker provides mechanical information to the flexible rod (8). As can be seen in FIG. 6, on the side 35 of the carriage (20) opposite to that which comprises the trunnion (21), a wall (23) makes it possible to cooperate with an outgrowth (17 '), in this atrophied hypothesis, exceeding contact holder (19) inside the window (16).
With reference to FIG. 7, the supply of the electronic circuit (PCBA) is carried out without passing through the torus (3), as is the case in FIG. 1. In the hypothesis of FIG. this additional turn aims to rebalance the flow in the torus (3) because the power circuit (PCBA) creates w imbalance. The solution of Figure 7 makes this feature useless. Other variants are of course possible and encompassed by the invention.
