Abstract

The method involves recovering condensates in hot air flow charged in a volatile organic compound, and utilizing a heat exchanger (10) e.g. embossed aluminum heat exchanger, on the charged hot air flow and ambient air, where the heat exchanger is placed downstream of a charged air conduit (1). The condensates are re-injected over the heat exchanger by using an injection ramp (7) for favoring trapping of molecules of the volatile organic compound by utilizing the hot condensates, where the ramp is open in an upper part of the heat exchanger. An independent claim is also included for a device for recovering heat and trapping volatile organic compound molecules in a hot air flow.
