Abstract

The seat (1) has a headrest cushion (3) associated to a backrest (2) by a reversed U shaped metallic armature (4), where the seat has a minimal dimension (6) of 600 mm. The armature has a part (5) projecting from top of a structure of the backrest. The armature has an upper part (7) folded towards front so as to be entered in a plane parallel to a plane defined by a lower part of branches of the armature. A zone of the armature between the planes forms a top deflection zone (8) that allows energy absorption and is complementary to a bottom deflection zone (10).
