Abstract

L'invention concerne une tige fémorale (1) pour prothèse de hanche comportant une partie proximale métaphysaire (2) et une partie distale diaphysaire (3) de forme allongée, destinée à être introduite dans la cavité médullaire d'un fémur, les parties métaphysaire (2) et diaphysaire (3) étant reliées par une zone d'interface (4) sensiblement plane correspondant à la zone de coupe du fémur, caractérisé en ce que la tige fémorale (1) comporte, dans sa partie diaphysaire (3), au moins une rainure (5) ou nervure dont une partie au moins est parallèle à l'interface (4) et adjacente à celle-ci.
