Abstract

The headrest (1) has a frame (2) assembled on a backrest of a seat. A rigid front shell (3) has a front surface (4) and a rear surface that is provided with a connecting unit to connect the shell to the frame. The front surface has lateral zones (12) extending in front of a support zone (5). A coating material e.g. textile, blank (8) is associated on the lateral zones by seaming and with respect to the support zone. An elastic material block (11) is placed between the blank and the support zone.
