Description
The present invention relates to the field of body treatment, topical or systemic, curative or preventive, in the therapeutic, aesthetic and cosmetic fields for humans and animals and more particularly the treatment of open wounds. The usual treatment is to affix dressings on the wound. The problem is the contact between the dressing and the wound, and the risk of microbial growth. It is known in the state of the art patent W00193793 which relates to a device for treating a wound in the skin of a patient by exposure of this wound to a fluid. This device is characterized in that it comprises at least one wall that can be brought into contact, at least substantially fluid-tight, with the cutaneous tissue surrounding the wound, so as to form a chamber at least substantially fluid-tight between the wound and the wall. According to this prior art, this wall is rigid so that it is kept spaced from the wound. This solution is not completely satisfactory contact between the device and the wound.
Also known is the European patent EP1089698 describing an apparatus for treating a living object with ozone, comprising a processing chamber for receiving the living object. This treatment chamber includes an inlet for introducing a mixture of ozone and oxygen therein, and an outlet for discharging the mixture of ozone and oxygen therefrom. The chamber has closure means for sealing the treatment chamber. A suction pump is connected to the outlet of the treatment chamber.
A system controls the ozone and oxygen supply of said suction pump to produce a negative pressure in said treatment chamber to prevent ozone leakage from the chamber into the atmosphere and to provide an indication of the condition of closure. This control system is a means for producing a static mode of operation which is defined as conditions in which there is no flow of ozone in or out of the chamber, except when tests are performed on test intervals at which a flow from the chamber is produced, the flow is tested for any drop in the ozone content, and a fresh amount of ozone is introduced into the chamber to compensate for any drop in the ozone content therein. The ozone and oxygen supply comprises an oxygen source, an ozone generator connected to the oxygen source for receiving oxygen and for generating ozone therefrom, a connecting connecting line the output of the ozone generator at the inlet of said treatment chamber, and a bypass line bypassing said ozone generator and connecting said oxygen source directly to said connecting pipe.
