Abstract
The exchanger has two fin portions (21B, 23B) respectively fixed in contact with fluid circulation tubes (3, 5) by brazing. The portions are separated with respect to each other by a material rupture (19B). The tubes are placed along an external fluid flow direction and are covered with a filler metal plating at the level of contact. The fin portions are free from the filler metal plating near the material rupture that is in the shape of a slit. An independent claim is also included for a method for fabricating a heat exchanger.
