Description

- - TABLETTE POUR SIEGE AUTOMOBILE, KIT DE RANGEMENT UTILISANT UNE TELLE- - TABLET FOR AUTOMOTIVE SEAT, STORAGE KIT USING SUCH

The present invention relates to the arrangement of the passenger compartment and more particularly, it relates to a tablet for a motor vehicle seat and a storage kit using said tablet. It also relates to a motor vehicle comprising such a storage unit.

To increase the modularity and mobility of storage in a motor vehicle, various solutions of tablets have been proposed. The publication FR 2 656 841 discloses a tray structure fixed on the rod or rods supporting the headrest of a seat and consisting of a lid and a tray that can form a storage box that can be swing upwards so as to arrange it substantially orthogonally to the back of the vehicle seat to use it. In its position of use, the lid tilts towards the front of the vehicle so as to be disposed substantially parallel to the seat back to allow access to the tray. One of the disadvantages lies in the fact that this shelf is bulky in the longitudinal direction in the storage position or retracted because it must have a depth adapted to store objects in said tray. It is an object of the present invention to provide an improved seat pad. For this purpose, the invention provides a shelf adapted to receive a tray, the tablet being disposed on the rear face of a motor vehicle seat back and movable about a transverse axis between a retracted position in which it is folded against said folder and a position of use in which it is located substantially orthogonal to the plane of said rear face of said file, said tablet comprising a main plate and an auxiliary plate, said main plate being able to hide said auxiliary plate in the retracted position of the tablet, said main plate 5 being rotatable about said transverse axis so as to make accessible said auxiliary plate which is a bottomless frame defining at least one empty space. One of the advantages of the present invention lies in the fact that this tablet is very compact in the longitudinal direction when it is in the retracted position. Indeed, the tablet consists of two flat trays. Thus, the tablet does not deteriorate the comfort of a rear passenger wishing to use or not the tablet according to the invention. Said bottomless frame may have a support zone 15 substantially centered and extending over all or part of the length in the longitudinal direction of said auxiliary plate, said support zone being able to accommodate a holding mechanism of the tablet in position d 'use. Said support zone may extend between a front edge and a rear edge of said bottom frame so as to form two distinct voids. The invention also relates to a tray adapted to be mounted on such a shelf, said tray comprising external flanges disposed on all or part of the periphery of its upper surface, said flanges being oriented outwardly projecting with respect to the outer surfaces. said tray. Said tank may have two separate storage compartments oriented longitudinally and secured by a connecting strip.

The invention relates, on the other hand, a storage kit adapted to be mounted on the back of a motor vehicle seat, comprising such a shelf and such a tray. The upper surface of said bottomless frame may be planar to receive said outer rims of said tray. The length in the transverse direction and the length in the longitudinal direction of said tray are substantially less than those of said bottom frame so as to facilitate the insertion of the tray into said frame. The connecting strip of said tray may be adapted to rest on the support zone extending over all or part of the width of said auxiliary tray when said tray is mounted on said tablet. The removable container constituting said storage kit according to the invention can be stored in a motor vehicle, and more specifically in a compartment defined in the floor. The compartment may be substantially at the 15 feet of a user of said storage kit. En référence à la figure 2, la tablette selon la présente invention comprend un plateau principal 18 et un plateau auxiliaire 20, tous deux pouvant être superposés en position escamotée ou d'utilisation de la tablette 10.In the following description, a longitudinal, vertical and transverse orientation will be adopted in a non-limiting manner according to the orientation conventionally used in the automobile and indicated by the trihedron L, V, T. Furthermore, the terms front and rear will be used with reference to the traditional sense of operation of a motor vehicle. Referring to the figures, and focusing for the moment in the first embodiment illustrated in Figures 1 to 3 and 6, a tablet 10 capable of improving the operation of storage spaces in a passenger compartment of a motor vehicle is described. The shelf 10 is disposed on the rear face of a seat backrest 12 of a motor vehicle. It is movable about a transverse axis 16 between a retracted position in which it is folded against said backrest 12 and a position of use in which it is substantially orthogonal to the plane of the rear face of the backrest 12 of the seat 14. With reference to FIG. 2, the tablet according to the present invention comprises a main plate 18 and an auxiliary plate 20, both of which can be superposed in the retracted position or of use of the tablet 10.

The main tray 18 is a flat plate which is able to mask said auxiliary tray when the shelf 10 is in the retracted position or in the position of use. Its dimensions are substantially the same as those of the auxiliary plate 20. When the tablet 10 is in the position of use, the main plate 18 is rotatable about the transverse axis 16 so as to tilt towards the before and to be substantially parallel to the back 12 of the seat 14. It thus leaves accessible the auxiliary tray 20. The auxiliary tray 20 has the distinction of being a bottomless frame that defines a gap 22. It defines a quadrilateral whose outer dimensions are substantially equal to those of the main plate 18. The upper surface of the frame is flat so as to receive the outer edges 26 of a storage bin 24 able to close the empty space 22 as illustrated on Figure 3. The outer flanges 26 of the tray 24 are disposed around the upper surface of the storage bin 24 and are outwardly projecting with respect to the outer surfaces. The latter must be large enough to withstand the weight of a heavy object disposed in the tray when the latter is mounted on the shelf 10. Thus, the lower surface of the flanges is intended to land on the surface 20. The dimensions of the tray, that is to say its lengths in the longitudinal and transverse direction, are substantially smaller than those of the bottom frame 20 so as to facilitate the insertion of the tray into said container. 20. Referring to Figure 6, the storage bin 24 is removable and available in the passenger compartment of the vehicle. Indeed, according to the invention, it is disposed in a housing 28 located at the feet of the passenger wishing to use the tablet 10. More particularly, the housing 28 is created in the floor P and is closed by a hatch 29. The depth and more generally the dimensions of the housing 28 are substantially greater than that of the storage bin 24 so as to store and remove the tray 24 easily when it is desired to use it with the tablet 10. 2900882 -6- By focusing now in the second embodiment illustrated in FIGS. 4 and 5, the difference with the first embodiment lies in the fact that the tablet 10 comprises a holding mechanism 32 in the position of use disposed under the latter. As such, the auxiliary plate 31 has a support zone 34 extending over all or part of the width of the auxiliary plate 31, the support zone 34 being able to accommodate the mechanism 32 for placing in use position of the tablet 10 on its lower surface. The mechanism 32 is a mechanism known to those skilled in the art, for example, a rod mechanism securely fastened on the one hand with the back of the seat back and on the other with the support zone 34. 4, said support zone extends between a front edge and a rear edge of the bottom frame 31 and is substantially in the middle of this frame in the transverse direction to balance the shelf 10 when is in use position. The frame 20 now defines two empty spaces 36 which are able to accommodate two separate trays (not shown) or a main tray 38 comprising two separate compartments 20 secured together by a longitudinal connecting strip 40. The separate trays have outer flanges 42 arranged on the periphery of their upper surface and are outwardly projecting with respect to its outer surfaces 44.

5 1. 10 15 20 2. 25 3. 30Thus, only three of the four lower surfaces of the flanges 42 are intended to rest on the upper surface of the auxiliary plate 31. One of the lower surfaces of the flanges 42 is intended to rest on the upper surface of the support zone 34. Moreover, the longitudinal and transverse dimensions of the trays are substantially smaller than those of the empty spaces 36 of the auxiliary tray 31 so as to facilitate the insertion of the trays into said tray 31. The main tray 38 has external rims 42 disposed on the periphery of the upper surface and are projecting outwardly relative to its outer surfaces 44. The lower surfaces of the flanges 42 are intended to rest on the upper surface of the auxiliary plate 31. connecting strip 40 is able to rest on the support zone 34 of the plate 31. The longitudinal and transverse dimensions of the two c The compartments are substantially smaller than those of the empty spaces 36 of the auxiliary plate 31 so as to facilitate the insertion of the tray 38 into said plate 31. In addition, the connecting strip 40 is substantially wider than the support zone 34 to be able to rest entirely on the latter. For either embodiment, a passenger wishing to use the tablet according to the invention must put said tablet in the use position and then tilt the main tray forward so that it allows access to the auxiliary tray. Then, the passenger retrieves said storage bin stored in a floor housing and positions it on the auxiliary tray. Once its use is complete, it repositions the tray 20 in its housing, closes the hatch and retracts the tablet against the seat back. Thus, according to the invention, a passenger accessing a tablet as described above can store many objects in the tray, use them by deploying the shelf and store them in the floor. With this solution, it frees the thickness of the shelf in the retracted position while having a large storage bin when you want to use it. Furthermore, storage spaces in the floor are increasingly common nowadays but often not used because of their access is difficult. The fact that they are removable and usable on a tablet offers a multitude of solutions to improve the comfort of the passenger since objects stored in the tray is found at hand for the duration of a trip. It should be noted that a storage space according to the invention could be found throughout the passenger compartment of a vehicle. For example, according to the second embodiment, the storage bins may be separate. The advantage of these bins is that they are less bulky and can for example be stored in the central consoles, glove boxes or doors. Another advantage of the present invention is that the empty spaces of the auxiliary plate whatever the embodiment, can be closed by any type of tank, possibly very shallow having rims adapted to settle on the auxiliary plate and can include for example, arrangements such as a beverage holder, a movable ashtray, etc. 5 1. 10 15 20 2. 25 3. 30
