Abstract

A collector box for a heat exchanger is of the type comprising at least a first chamber (C1) and at least a second chamber (C2) for the circulation of respective fluids and which are separated by separating means (56). A wall (52, 54) of the collector box has a first local deformation (60, 62), which first deformation (60, 62) collaborates with part (62, 60) of an opposite wall (54, 52) to form the said separating means (56). A heat exchanger accepts heat exchange tubes in such a collector box. Application to motor vehicles.
