Abstract

The assembly has a collector box (2) made of a castable material e.g. plastic, and a tube base (3) made of a ductile material e.g. metal. The tube base has a circulating, ductile boundary region (3b), and the collector box has a circulating flange (2d), where the boundary region is mechanically connected with the flange. An O-ring (9) is disposed between a lateral region of the flange and the boundary region of the tube base.
