Abstract
Description
Anti-pinch device for a hinged door of a motor vehicle
and a motor vehicle comprising at least one door equipped with such an anti-pinch device.
The present invention relates to an anti-pinch device for a swinging door of a motor vehicle. Motor vehicles have openings formed by hinged or sliding doors and trunk panels or tailgates.
When closing these openings, it may occur that a finger or a hand of a user is stuck between the opening and an adjacent fixed element of the vehicle body. To limit this kind of problem, the opening of certain motor vehicles are equipped with an anti-pinch device. This is the case of vehicles whose doors are constituted by sliding doors. For this purpose, anti-pinch devices are known which prevent or limit the jamming of a finger or a hand and which are formed by a shaped rubber profile to obstruct a substantially vertical space between the sliding door and the adjacent element of the box over at least a portion of the height of the opening, when the sliding door has passed at least one closing notch. This profile makes it possible to soften the contact between the foreign body and the sliding door, when closing it. In the case of motorized sliding doors, anti-pinch devices are known comprising means for detecting the presence of a foreign body between the vehicle body and the door when it closes, which triggers the stopping of the electric motor driving by appropriate means, said sliding door. But these known devices are difficult to transpose to swing doors.
The invention aims to provide an anti-pinch safety device adapted to swing doors, simple to implement, and which stops the closing of the swing door in a very short time.
The invention therefore relates to an anti-pinch device for a swinging door of a motor vehicle, said door being movable by pivoting between an open position and a closed position of an opening made in the vehicle body and said opening. being equipped with means for detecting the presence of a foreign body, characterized in that the detection means are connected to means for controlling a locking member of the door before its closed position when detecting the presence of a foreign body in said opening. According to other features of the invention: - the detection means comprise a sensing gasket disposed on the edge of the opening of the body, - the locking member is formed by a pivoting lever mounted on the vehicle body and intended to cooperate with a pin carried by the door, - the lever forming the locking member is movable by tilting by said pin during closing of the door between a raised position and a lowered position, - the lever forming the organ The control means comprise an actuating system of a locking lever mounted on the body of the vehicle and movable between an active position for holding the lever of the vehicle. locking in its raised position on the path of the pin to prevent the closing of the door and a retracted passive position allowing the passage of said pin and the closing of the door, - the system of operation is formed by at least one electromagnet connected to the detection means, and the locking lever is returned to its passive position by an elastic return element. The invention also relates to a motor vehicle, characterized in that it comprises at least one swing door equipped with an anti-pinch device as previously mentioned.
The invention will be better understood on reading the description which follows, given by way of example and with reference to the appended drawings, in which: FIG. 1 is a schematic perspective view of a swing door of a motor vehicle equipped with an anti-pinch device according to the invention; FIG. 2 is a schematic side view of the anti-pinch device in free position for opening the door, FIG. 3 is a diagrammatic sectional view along line 3-3 of FIG. 2, and - FIG. 4 is a side view of the anti-pinch device in the locked position of the door. In FIG. 1, schematically shows a swing door 1 of a motor vehicle which is mounted on a body 2 of the vehicle by means of hinges, not shown, with a vertical axis. This door 1 is pivotally movable by means of these hinges between an open position and a closed position of an opening 5 made in the body 2 of the vehicle. The peripheral edge of this opening 5 is equipped with means for detecting the presence of a foreign body such as a finger or a hand and which are formed by a sensing gasket designated as a whole by the reference 8 also forming a seal sealing between the door 1 and the body 2, when the door 1 is in the closed position. As shown in Figs. 1 to 3, the lower edge 1a of the door 1 is provided with a protruding pin 6 (Fig. 2) which when closing the door 1 enters a groove 7 (Fig. Fig. 3) provided in a sill 9 of the sill. The opening of the groove 7 is directed towards the outside of the vehicle as shown in FIG. 3 so as to allow the passage of the pin 6 during the closing of the door 1. The detection means 8 constituted by the sensing gasket are connected to means 20 for controlling a locking member 10 of the door 1 before its closed position when detecting the presence of a foreign body in the opening 5 of the body 2.
The locking member 10 is formed by a substantially horizontal lever 11 and pivotally mounted on the sill 9 of the sill and in the axis of the groove 7 formed in said spar 9, as shown in FIG. 3. This lever 11 is pivotally mounted about an axis 12 extending parallel to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle. The lever 11 forming the locking member 10 is movable by tilting about the axis 12 by the pin 6 when opening the door 1 between a raised position shown in solid lines in FIG. 2 and a lowered position shown in phantom lines in this FIG. 2. In order to facilitate the tilting of the lever 11 and the passage of the pin 6, the free end of the lever 11 comprises, at its upper part, a boss 11 has the shape of an arc. The lever 11 is held in the raised position by a resilient return element 13 formed for example by a torsion spring mounted around the axis 12 and having a first end 13a resting on the inner face of the spar 9 and a second end 13b The control means 20 comprise an actuating system 21 of a substantially vertical locking lever 22 and pivotally mounted about a horizontal axis 23 inside the sill 9 of the underside.
The lever 22 has on its face facing the inside of the motor vehicle, a tab 24 intended to cooperate with the actuating system 21 which is constituted by at least one electromagnet connected to the detection means 8, that is to say at the sensory seal. The locking lever 22 is, under the action of the actuating system 21, movable about the axis 23 between a retracted passive position releasing the lever 11 to allow the passage of the pin 6 and the closing of the door 1, as represented in FIG. 2, and an active position in which the end of the lever 22 is disposed below the lever 11 to maintain the lever 11 in its raised position on the path of the pin 6 and, thus, prevent the closing of the door 1 as shown in FIG. 4. The locking lever 22 is held in its passive position by a resilient return member 25 constituted for example by a torsion spring mounted on the axis 23 and which has a first end 25a resting on a fixed element, such as by For example, the support of the actuating system 21, and a second end 25b resting on the locking lever 22. In its passive position, the locking lever 22 bears against a stop 26.
In the absence of the detection of an obstacle by the sensing gasket 8, the electromagnet 21 is not excited and with each movement of the door 1, the pin comes into contact with the boss 11a of the lever 11 causing the tilting of the lever It which, after the passage of the pin 6, resumes, under the effect of the elastic element 13, his positron raised.
If, during the closing of the door 1, an obstacle is detected by the sensing gasket 8, the electromagnet 21 is excited and the locking lever 22 is placed below the lever 11, as shown in FIG. . 4. Thus, the deletion of the lever 11 is prevented by the locking lever 22 so that the pin 6 is stopped by the boss 11a of the lever 11 before the door 1 reaches the dangerous pinch position. As soon as the sensing gasket 8 no longer detects the presence of an obstacle, the electromagnet 21 is no longer energized and the locking lever 22 resumes, under the effect of the elastic element 25, its passive retracted position, as shown in FIG. 2, thus allowing the lever 11 to tilt and the passage of the pin 6 to close the door 1. The anti-pinch device reacts quickly because the time available to prevent the closing of the door is of the order of one hundredth second and the race before closing the door is very small in the order of a millimeter. The electromagnet 21 is chosen according to the inertia of the locking lever 22 so that the setting security position is done in a relatively short time before the door reaches a dangerous position. An overexcited electromagnet, for example by capacitor discharge, which results in short and intense magnetic fields, can be used. The anti-pinch device according to the invention has the advantage of having a negligible electrical consumption and mechanical wear because it is rarely solicited. 30
