Abstract

L'invention concerne une installation pour le contrôle de la quantité d'aliments ingérés par des animaux (13), tels que des volailles, munis d'un code individuel d'identification, lors d'une prise d'aliment, en vue notamment de la détermination de l'indice de consommation des aliments, cette installation comportant au moins une mangeoire (2) associée à des moyens (3) de pesage et un couloir (4) d'accès individuel à cette mangeoire (2), ce couloir (4) étant équipé de moyens de lecture du code d'identification porté par l'animal (13), les données fournies par les moyens de lecture et les moyens (3) de pesage étant adressées à une unité de traitement de données.Cette installation est caractérisée en ce que ladite mangeoire (2) et ses moyens (3) de pesage associés sont montés à l'état suspendu sur un bâti (12) récepteur de manière à pouvoir laisser libre l'espace entre mangeoire (2) et sol pour faciliter le nettoyage et éviter les erreurs de pesée.
