Abstract

The device has a lower clamp (2) tightening and loosening itself by a roller fixed on a handle of a stroller (1). A screw (3) maintains the clamp and the roller on both sides of a completely orientable parallelepiped shaped carrier block (4). A telescopic tube (7) is fixed in the carrier block by a screw (5). The telescopic tube adjusts itself to the size of a user of the device. Another roller (11) tightens or loosens an upper clamp (12).

  The present invention relates to an umbrella carrying device adapting to a stroller and allowing the protection of the user in case of rain while keeping the hands free.

  Traditionally, a person walking a child in his stroller in rainy weather, is obliged to put a hood that provides only a poor protection or is forced to push the stroller with one hand. The good handling of the stroller is then greatly compromised.

  The device according to the invention overcomes this problem. Depending on its characteristics, the device is attached from below to one of the handles of the stroller with a lower clamp and holds up the umbrella with a top clamp, all being fully adjustable. These two parts are interconnected by a telescopic tube allowing adaptation to the size of the user.

  This invention therefore has the following advantages: - It is removable, the user is not obliged to clutter if time does not require. - It adapts to the height of the user to ensure better protection. - The ends of the device are each adjustable at will to obtain exactly the desired inclination.

  The accompanying drawings illustrate the invention: FIG. 1 represents an overall view of the device once it has been fixed on a stroller. - Figures 2, 3 and 4 show the device seen from different angles.   With reference to these drawings, a clamp (2) tightening and loosening by means of a wheel (6) is fixed on one of the handles of the stroller (1). A screw (3) holds this clamp (2) and this wheel (6) on either side of a carrier block (4) in the shape of a parallelepiped. This block (4) is completely orientable to obtain the desired inclination. In the carrier block (4) is fixed by means of a screw (5) a telescopic tube (7) adjusting to the size of the user of the device. An angled shaped member (8) forming a right angle is at the end of the telescopic tube (7). A new tube (9) of small length comes to prolong it. On it is screwed a small bracket (14) which supports an oval shaped part called support (io) of the upper clamp (12). On this support (io) is, on one side, a knob (u) for tightening or loosening the upper clamp (12) mentioned above, this clamp being reclining at 36o. With this clamp (12), 15 will be maintained the handle of the umbrella (13) regardless of its diameter by turning the knob (u) sufficiently.

  1) umbrella carrying device adapting to a stroller characterized in that it comprises a lower attachment provided with a clamp (2) and a wheel (6) attaching to the handle of the stroller (1), a telescopic tube (7) and an upper attachment also provided with a clamp (12) holding said umbrella (13) and a wheel (n).   2) umbrella carrying device adapting to a stroller according to claim 1, characterized in that the lower clamp (2) is tightened on the handle of the stroller (1) by means of a wheel (6).   3) Umbrella carrying device adapting to a stroller according to the preceding claims, characterized in that the carrier block (4) is screwed on the lower clamp (2) and movable.   4) umbrella carrying device adapting to a stroller according to the preceding claims, characterized in that the telescopic tube (7) is fixed in the carrier block (4) and adjustable to the height desired by the user. 15   5) umbrella carrying device adapting to a stroller according to the preceding claims, characterized in that 1 'elbow-shaped element (8) allows to connect the telescopic tube (7) and the upper attachment.   6) Umbrella-carrying device adapting to a stroller according to the preceding claims, characterized in that the upper attachment comprises an upper gripper (12) and a knob (11), said gripper (12) being tilting and allowing to maintain the umbrella (13) whatever the diameter of its handle by adjusting the wheel (11).
