Abstract

The device has a retention post to be fixed or to be planted to a ground, under the form of a vertical arm (1) and a horizontal arm (4). The arm (4) is maintained in balance by a spring (6) and hooks an adjustable strap (17) on which an elastic belt (20) is fixed, where the belt is tied around a hip of a user. The strap has a male clip (18) at one end and a simple and rotating buckle around an axle (19) which is gripped to an anchoring point (5) of the arm (4).

Description

The present invention relates to a retaining device for enabling the

  sports swimming, restorative or other, according to most styles, in all pools, or basins and more generally in all bodies of water, for private or collective use, where the restricted space does not allow, for the most part, a fair swimming practice.

  Usually, swimming pools are designed to bring freshness during hot weather, which does not give, by their small size, the opportunity to practice swimming. The device, object of the invention, fills this disadvantage.

  The device according to the invention comprises according to a first feature, a retaining post with a mechanism providing flexibility, an adjustable strap attached thereto and on which is fixed an elastic belt to self-tightening which is place around the hips of the swimmer.

  Due to a compression on the body exerted by the traction of the swimmer, the invention is intended to emphasize more particularly the flexible appearance of the retaining pole.

  Thus, equipped with this device, the user, contained but not blocked in his movements, can swim, without limitation, by doing the spot, a bit like a follower of the treadmill, who runs but who advances not.

  According to the concept of implementation used: - the retaining pole can be equipped with a stake to be planted in the ground, ordinary, or according to the particularity of the drawings n 2 and n 3. This peg could also be suitable in other areas d use, such as fixing poles.

  The accompanying drawings illustrate the invention: FIG. 1 represents parts A, B and C of the device.

  Figures 2 and 3 show the peculiarity of the stake to be planted.

  With reference to these drawings, the device comprises three main parts: The piece A, the retaining pole, which comprises a vertical arm (1) expandable through an inner tube (2) to allow adaptation to all pools, up to 1.5m high, on which is articulated freely, thanks to a set of triangular brackets (3), another arm (4), horizontal telescopic self-locking or rack (Series of holes). The latter (4) can bring the anchor point (5) up to 1.20m from the edge of the pool, is maintained in horizontal equilibrium by a spring (6) connecting it, at its end, to the vertical post (1 ) in a setting sliding and blocking a piece, a tube end (7) of greater diameter than the post (1). The suspension (6) makes it possible to withstand and at the same time dampen the irregular thrust of the swimmer. It is regulated according to the strength of the swimmer.

  The post is fixed to the ground by sealing a base (8) or by crushing an ordinary stake or according to the particularity of the drawings No. 2 (before the operation) and No. 3 (after the operation). It is a piquet elaborated to better hold in soft ground. It consists of a tube (9) about 60 mm in diameter, about 0.60 m long, cut to a point to penetrate the earth, in which another tube (10) of 20 mm welded to the base. A ring (11) intended to slide in it, has on its circumference 4 mortises (12) positioned in a cross, where are housed 4 flat irons (13).

  Once the peg (9) buried in the ground, is placed inside a tube of 0,40m approximately, foreign to the device, which will not be used later, of the same diameter as the ring (11) and to With the aid of a mallet, the latter is pushed down to the bottom to bring the four flat bars (13) into a horizontal position after having entered through the four lights (14) of the stake (9). This operation was facilitated by the presence of 4 guides (welded pins) (15).

  The intermediate tube (2) can then be inserted and locked with a screw (16).

  The second element of the restraint system, part B, consists of a polypropylene strap of adjustable length (17), resistant to a chlorinated medium, provided at one end with a male clip (18), and at the other end of a simple or rotating loop about an axis (19) which is hooked to the anchoring point (5) of the horizontal arm (4).

  The belt (20), the piece C, completes this device object of the invention. Of elastic material, a width of 60 to 70 mm, non-limiting, also resistant to a chlorinated medium, it is equipped with a quick-closing opening system, here in this example a male-clips (18) and female (21) and loops (22) and an adjustable strap (23). Drawing No. 1 expresses this description. This design allows tightening of the belt around the hips of the swimmer.

  According to a variant not illustrated, the retaining pole, shown by way of example, can benefit from a particular architectural design. It can also be replaced by a lighting pole, shower, or others. It can be equipped with force measuring devices or others.

  The suspension (6) can be placed at a place other than that shown in FIG.

  Beyond the spring (6), a damper may serve as a suspension, such as a curved flat iron, or any other element, such as rubber, which can offer elasticity to the retaining pole.

  The set of triangular brackets (3) can be replaced by a hinge, a tenon-mortise assembly or any other element that can have a rotating assembly.

  According to a variant not illustrated also, it may be added to the device a protective band with a width of about 20 cm, which could be rubberized to allow swimming having the belt (20) positioned around the waist.

  To note, or to remind, that the developed data (techniques, characteristics, dimensions etc.) are given by way of example, not limiting.

  The device according to the invention is particularly intended for swimming in the pool. For swimming comfort, however, it is advisable for an adult to practice swimming in bodies of water whose length is greater than 3 m and depth greater than 0.70 m.

Claims (6)

  1) A device for being able to swim in all pools or bodies of water where the restricted space does not allow, for the most part, a just practice of swimming, characterized in that it comprises a retaining post to fix or to plant on the ground, in the form of two extensible arms, one vertical (1), the other horizontal (4), equipped with an elastic suspension (6), which is hooked an adjustable strap (17) on which an elastic belt (20), with quick-opening (18) (21) and self-tightening, is placed around the hips of the swimmer.   2) Device according to claim 1 characterized in that the grounding stake in the earth (9) has inside four flat irons (13) intended, once deployed, to provide a better seat to the retaining pole.   3) Device according to claim 1 characterized in that the retaining pole is a lighting pole or shower.   4) Device according to claim 1 characterized in that the suspension is a damper.   5) Device according to claim 1 characterized in that it further comprises a protective strip of a width of about 20 cm, which could be rubberized to place around the waist, to allow swimming by having the belt (20) positioned around the swimmer's waist.   6) Device according to claim 1 or claim 3 characterized in that the retaining pole is equipped with force measuring devices.
