Abstract

The mute has a part (4a) with a rigid cylindrical support (5) connecting active elements (6, 7) made of an elastically deformable flexible material. The elements (6, 7) are respectively complementary to the shape of a mouthpiece (1) and a crook (2) of a saxophone.
