Abstract

Filtre à particules pour carburant Diesel, pour l'épuration des gaz d'échappement d'un moteur Diesel, dans lequel l'élément filtrant (12) comporte un revêtement catalytique pour une régénération continue de la calamine déposée sur lui (effet CRT). Etant donné que, dans certaines conditions de conduite, il n'y a pas suffisamment de NO2 produit pour brûler la calamine, et que le niveau de remplissage du filtre peut augmenter jusqu'à provoquer un arrêt du moteur en raison de la forte contre-pression des gaz, il est prévu ici que le filtre (2) présente une pluralité de passages de dérivation à l'intérieur de l'élément filtrant, qui laissent passer les gaz d'échappement sans filtrage, dans ces conditions. On peut ainsi éviter que le moteur s'arrête et cela permet d'attendre jusqu'à ce que les conditions de conduite autorisent de nouveau une régénération du filtre.
