Abstract

The assembly has a bar (9) comprising a cross piece (6) and a handle (13) that is rotatively mounted on the cross piece that comprises a lower hook (10). The distance between the lower hook and an axis of rotation of the handle on the cross piece is equal to the distance between the upper and lower rails (2, 3) of a hand rail. The handle is movable between perpendicular and inclined positions, where the handle is perpendicular to the cross piece and the hook is engaged on the lower rail (3), in the perpendicular position. The hook is disengaged from the rail (3), in the inclined position.

Description

Set consisting of a railing and a pole for fixing the guardrail on the crossbar.
The invention relates to an assembly for the secure installation of a scaffolding.
More particularly, the invention relates to a safety assembly comprising a railing and a pole for remotely installing said railing on a scaffold.
Scaffolding consists of several work platforms, or trays, arranged at different heights. Each work platform is a secure space with railings.
In the prior art, methods for installing the railings on the scaffold are known.
One method is to install the tray and then mount on the tray to install the guardrail. However, this method is not suitable for security reasons. Indeed, during the installation of the railing on the plate, the erector of the scaffolding is not protected.
Another method is to install the railing manually from the lower stage tray which is secured beforehand by means of a bodyguard. This method makes it possible to mount the scaffold securely. However, this method requires placing each tray at a low height above the previous one. Thus, it is for example not possible to have a plateau every 3 meters as advocated by current regulations. Indeed, the distance between the trays is then too great to allow the editor to manually arrange the guardrail from the lower plate.
The invention aims to remedy these problems by providing a safety assembly for securing the mounting of a scaffolding which is simple, inexpensive and allows to mount scaffolding whose distance between the trays is important.
For this purpose, and according to a first aspect, the invention proposes a safety assembly comprising a railing and a pole for installing said body on a scaffolding, the railing being composed of a top rail and a railing. a parallel lower rail separated by a distance d and secured by means of two uprights; the pole comprising: - a crossbar provided with at least two upper hooks for cooperating with the upper rail; and - a handle mounted in rotation on the cross member and provided with at least one lower hook.
The distance between the lower hook and the axis of rotation of the handle on the cross member is substantially equal to the distance d. The handle is movable between a position perpendicular to the crossbar in which the lower hook engages the lower rail and a position inclined relative to the crossbar in which the lower hook disengages from the lower rail.
The erection of the scaffolding is then secure because the editor uses the pole to mount the railing above the upper plate. It does not climb on the board until the guardrail has been installed.
In addition, the pole allows to place the cross on the scaffold despite a significant distance between the trays.
Finally, the invention allows the mounting of the scaffold by one person.
Other objects and advantages of the invention will become apparent from the following description, made with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which: Figure 1 shows a safety assembly consisting of a pole and a guardrail. - Figure 2 shows a safety assembly, the handle being in an inclined position relative to the cross. Figure 3 shows a safety assembly, the handle of the pole being in a position perpendicular to the cross.
Figures 4, 5 and 6 show different stages of the use of the safety assembly for mounting a scaffold.
The safety assembly, as shown in FIG. 1, comprises a railing 1 and a pole 9.
The railing 1 is composed of an upper rail 2 and a lower rail 3 parallel. The rails 2, 3 are separated by a distance d and secured by means of two uprights 11, 12. The rails 2, 3 are provided with fixing means 4 to the scaffold 5.
The fastening means 4 may consist of a first hook arranged to be arranged on a bar of the scaffold 5 and a second movable hook for locking the railing 1 to the scaffold 5 when it is arranged under the bar of the scaffolding.
The boom 9 comprises a crosspiece 6 provided with at least two upper hooks 8, 8 'intended to cooperate with the upper rail 2. In one embodiment of the invention, the upper hooks 8, 8' are spaced apart by distance of about 50 cm.
The boom 9 comprises a handle 13 rotatably mounted on the crossmember 6 and having at least one lower hook 10. The distance between the lower hook 10 and the axis of rotation of the handle 13 on the crossmember 6 is substantially equal to the distance d corresponding to the spacing between the rails 2, 3.
The upper hooks 8, 8 'are intended to be arranged under the upper rail 2 and the lower hook 10 is in the opposite direction to the upper hooks 8, 8' so that it can be arranged above the lower rail 3.
Note that, in a preferred embodiment, the upper hooks 8, 8 'and lower 10 have a flared shape for ease of implementation.
The handle 13 is movable between a position perpendicular to the crossmember 6 in which the lower hook 10 engages the lower rail 3, illustrated in FIG. 3, and an inclined position in which the lower hook 10 disengages from the lower rail 3, illustrated in Figure 2.
The procedure for arranging the railing on the scaffold 5 is as follows:
The fitter 14 secures the perch 9 to the railing 1. For this, he arranges the upper hooks 8, 8 'against the upper rail 2 and then pivots the handle 13 to a position in which it is perpendicular to the crossbar 6 The lower hook 10 is then placed against the lower rail 3, which makes it possible to secure the pole 9 to the guard rail 1.
As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the fitter 14 is then placed on the lower plate and uses the pole 9 to arrange the railing on the scaffold 5.
Note that preferably, the editor 14 installs the railing 1 before installing the floor of the upper plate.
When the fastening means 4 of the railing are arranged on the scaffold 5, illustrated in FIG. 4, the assembler 14 pivots the handle 13 relative to the crosspiece 6, illustrated in FIG. 6. Thus, the lower hook 10 disengages from the lower rail 3 and the pole 9 is detached from the body 1.
In one embodiment of the invention, the upper hooks 8, 8 'and lower 10 cooperate with the rails 2, 3 by means of elastic elements, such as rubber pads. The elastic elements make it possible to maintain a stress on the rails 2,3 when the pole 9 is secured to the railing 1.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the boom 9 has an abutment for preventing rotation of the handle 13 beyond the position in which the pole is perpendicular to the crosspiece 6. The boom 9 is then movable by rotation on only about 90 [deg].
In one embodiment of the invention, the lower hook 10 has a cylinder rotatably mounted and arranged to cooperate with the lower rail 3 during movement of the handle 13 to reduce friction between the lower hook 10 and the lower rail 3.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the length of the handle 13 is adjustable. For this purpose, the handle 13 is composed of two rods 15, 16. The rods 15, 16 are slidably mounted relative to each other. For this purpose, the handle 13 has a housing in which slides one of the rods 15, 16. The housing has a device for blocking the sliding of the rod 15, 16.
In one embodiment of the invention, the pole 9 comprises a fixing device to a scaffold 5. The fixing device may for example be an additional hook disposed on the handle 13 and for hanging the pole 9 to the structure scaffolding 5.
Note that in one embodiment of the invention, the distance between the lower hook 10 and the axis of rotation of the handle 13 on the crossbar 6 is adjustable. Thus, the pole 9 can adapt to railings 1 whose distance d is different.
