Abstract

The hook has a curved end (2) for connecting in a reversible manner an object to a support, and a fixing end (3) to be assembled with the support or the object. The end (2) has a longitudinal slit defining two bent teeth (20, 21) formed to define a notch. The end (3) has two bent teeth (30, 31) defining another notch (7). The interiors of the notches are engaged by blocking with cords (5, 8) provided with nodes (6, 9). Each cord is connected fixedly to the support or to the object.

Description

The present invention relates to the field of devices used for

  to hang an object on a support, in order to hang them there or to pull them according to whether this support is fixed or mobile. More specifically, the invention relates to a hook

  having a curved end for reversibly connecting said object to said support, and a fixing end adapted to be assembled, as the case may be, with said support or with said object.

  The object of the invention is to propose a hook specially adapted for use in the context of an object that may have a significant weight, such as in particular a planter, a hammock, and whose commissioning, possibly having a character Temporary, assumes the possibility of being able to proceed quickly and easily to both installation and withdrawal, when the period of use comes to an end.

  Conventionally, the attachment of an object, such as a hammock, on a support, is carried out by means of two ropes each extending one end of the hammock, and on which the user forms each time a node after having wrapped around said support.

  Although advantageous because of its simplicity and its ability to adapt to media of very diverse natures, this attachment system nevertheless has major disadvantages.

  Indeed, and more particularly when installing a hammock, it is essential, for obvious security reasons, to achieve a perfectly adjusted knot and which presents no risk of being undone under the weight of a user who would lie there.

  This operation undeniably has a tedious character that does not respond to the desire for relaxation of a person about to use a hammock.

  In addition, the tension exerted on the ropes over time, by the weight of the user, or of any subsequent users, has the effect of further tightening the knots and then blocking them to such an extent that they can only be defeated with great difficulty, if at all.

  The object of the present invention is, therefore, to provide a system for attaching an element, such as in particular a hammock, to a support, this system having a simple structure, allowing a quick set-up and removal and easy of the element on said support, and remaining an affordable cost.

  To this end, the invention relates to a hook for the suspension or traction of an object, having a curved end for reversibly connecting said object to a support, and an attachment end adapted to be assembled, as appropriate , with said support or with said object, characterized in that said curved end has a longitudinal slot defining two bent teeth shaped to define a notch inside which is able to be engaged with locking an assembly element, such as in particular a rope provided with one or more nodes, this connecting element being furthermore fixedly connected, as the case may be, to the support or to the object.

  According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, said hook is characterized in that the fixing end also has a curved shape comprising two teeth defining a second notch inside which is able to be engaged with blocking an element. assembly, such as in particular a rope provided with one or more nodes, this assembly element being furthermore fixedly connected, as the case may be, to the support or to the object.

  Other objects and advantages of the present invention will become apparent from the following description, relating to embodiments which are given only as indicative and non-limiting examples.

  The invention relates to a hook 1, preferably made of metal, for the suspension or traction of an object, this hook 1 having typically a curved end 2 for reversibly connecting the object to a support, and an end fixing 3 capable of being assembled, as the case may be, with the support or with the object, by means of appropriate fixing means.

  According to a characteristic of the invention, the bent end 2 has two teeth 20, 21 shaped so as to define a notch 4 inside which is able to be engaged with locking an assembly element, such as in particular a rope 5 provided with one or more knots 6, this assembly element being furthermore fixedly connected, as the case may be, to the support or to the object.

  According to the preferred embodiment of the invention, shown diagrammatically in FIGS. 1 and 2, the fastening end 3 of the hook 1 itself has a curved shape comprising two teeth 30, 31 defining a second notch 7 to inside which is able to be engaged with locking an assembly element, such as in particular a rope 8 provided with one or more nodes 9, this assembly element being furthermore fixedly connected, as the case may be, to the support or to the object.

  Preferably, according to a characteristic of the invention, the hook 1 has in this case a substantially S-shaped structure, the teeth 20, 21, 30, 31 defining two ends 2, 3 bifides.

  Thus, to suspend on a support a hammock whose two ends are each equipped with a rope 5 provided with preformed knots 6, it suffices to introduce each of these strings 5 into a notch 4 of a hook 1, while a rope 8, already fixed to the same support and provided with preformed nodes 9, is inserted into the notch 7 of the hook 1 considered. The knots 6, 9 then become locked in the curved portions of the hook 1 under the effect of the weight of the hammock, as shown in Figure 2, and ensure the strength of the attachment.

  To unhook the hammock, the user simply performs the opposite operation, in which it suffices to grasp the hook 1 and disengage it from the ropes 5 or 8 on which it is engaged at the notches 4, 7.

  Therefore, such a structure of a hook 1 can not only easily and quickly manage the hooking or unhooking of a hammock, but also the useful length of the strings 5, 8 that need only be equipped with a succession of knots 6, 9.

  Furthermore, in the case of oblique suspension, the hook 1 may advantageously be oriented so that the nodes 6, 9, 9 are unable to disengage the notches 4, 7 when they are subjected to gravity.

  Of course, the hook 1 according to the invention can see its shape, dimensions and strength adapted to the purpose for which it is intended and the caliber of the assembly element used, defined for example by a rope 5 , 8.

  Thus, in a more elaborate form, in which the hook 1 can also be used to tow heavy objects, the support being then not fixed, but mobile, the same hook 1 will be provided larger, more resistant and the notches 4 and 7 may further be equipped with means able to prevent inadvertent escape of the assembly element, defined in particular by a rope 5 or 8.

  In this respect, the notches 4, 7 may, for example, advantageously be closed by means of safety pins, or other similar means.

  Of course, other embodiments equally easy to use and having the same advantages as those of the hook 1 described above can also be envisaged within the scope of the present invention.

  Thus, a hook 1, as shown in Figure 3 and wherein the fixing end 3 is defined by a single threaded portion 10 adapted to allow the attachment of the hook 1 on a support, may well be suitable. Such a hook 1 is particularly suitable for situations in which an object is intended to be suspended on a location which is in principle definitely reserved, but with the need to be able to unhook and hang up easily and as often as desired. Indeed, if the hook 1 is then fixed permanently on the support, it is not the same object that it supports, which can be easily removed as soon as necessary.

  Similarly, another embodiment, shown in Figure 4, based on a very simple structure but quite suitable for most situations, and distinguished by the presence, at the attachment end 3, d an orifice 11 adapted to cooperate with a suitable fastening means, such as in particular a nail, a screw or a rope for its assembly as appropriate with said support or said object, can also be envisaged.

  Moreover, an application of such a hook 1, having an orifice 11, in the context of the suspension of a hammock 12 on a support 13, is shown schematically in FIG. 5. It is clearly visible here the utility of such a hook 1, durably secured to the hammock 12 at the fixing end 3 carrying the orifice 11 and whose curved end 2 is brought to cooperate with a rope 5 equipped with knots 6 fixed on the support 13 for the installation of the hammock 12, or simply removed from this rope 5 to pick up the same hammock 12.

  Although the invention has been described with respect to a particular embodiment, it is understood that it is in no way limited and that various modifications of shape, materials and combinations thereof can be made. various elements without departing from the scope and spirit of the invention.

7 CLAIMS   1. Hook (1) for the suspension or traction of an object, having a curved end (2) for reversibly connecting said object to a support, and a fixing end (3) suitable for assembly, according to the case, with said support or with said object, characterized in that said curved end (2) has a longitudinal slot defining two curved teeth (20, 21) shaped to define a notch (4) inside which is suitable to be engaged with blocking an assembly element, such as in particular a rope (5) provided with one or more nodes (6), this assembly element being furthermore fixedly connected, as the case may be, to the support or to the 'object.   2. Hook (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that the fixing end (3) has a curved shape comprising two teeth (30, 31) defining a second notch (7) within which is suitable to be engaged with blocking an assembly element, such as in particular a rope (8) provided with one or more nodes (9), this assembly element being furthermore fixedly connected, as the case may be, to the support or to the 'object.   3. Hook (1) according to any one of claims 1 or 2, characterized in that it has a substantially shaped structure of "S".   4. Hook (1) according to claim 2 or claim 3, characterized in that the or notches (4, 7) have means adapted to prevent inadvertent escape of the connecting element.   5. Hook (1) according to claim 4, characterized in that the said notches (4, 7) are closed by means of 30 safety pins.   6. Hook (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that the fixing end (3) comprises an orifice (11) adapted to cooperate with a suitable fastening means, such as in particular a nail, a screw or a rope for its assembly as appropriate with said support or said object.   7. Hook (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that the fixing end (3) has a threaded portion (10) adapted to allow its attachment to the support.   8.
