Abstract

The invention relates to a method and a device for detecting micro-organisms (bacteria, viruses, fungi, or other) in real-time and at regular time intervals. Said device is fully automatic, extracting a sample from an aerosol, a cloud, or any volume of air, and then analysing the same. The inventive method for detecting micro-organisms consists of the following steps: a sample is taken from the aerosol; said sample is concentrated on a detection element; and a biological detection process is performed by an immunochromatographic reaction of the presence of pre-determined micro-organisms, which is visualised by an optoelectronic means. Once the device has been disinfected, the unit test is changed. Said series of operations is automatically cyclically repeated at regular time intervals, without any human intervention.
