Abstract

The method involves digitizing the details of a color or of a gray level of a digitized visual art work, and controlling the laser scanning of a surface, on which a model of the work is to be reproduced, based on the digitized data. The laser sends a light ray, on the surface covered with a coating, with a light intensity sufficient for marking the surface. The surface is coated with oil paint, acrylic paint, glyptal paint, water colors, pastels, inks, natural pigments, chemical pigments, hues, wax, satin finished polyurethane varnish, mineral filler or a metallic filler.

Description

1 28835041 2883504

The present invention relates to a method for reproducing on a surface all digitized visual works.

The reading of traditional visual works is mainly related to the sense of sight. The majority of the works thus leaves the private persons partly or totally of this sense. The technique according to the invention makes it possible to offer two levels of reading, tactile and visual, which makes it possible to bring together clairvoyants, the visually impaired and the blind. This process allows, among other things: - tactile reading, text and image, much more precise than the embossed paper used in illustrations - stability over time due to a better resistance of the support to wear, wear caused by reading touch.

- to promote the opening of the world of art to the visually impaired and the visually impaired, among others in museums, by reproducing works of art according to the process, with the possibility of adding all the desired indications in Braille writing such as name of the author, title of the work, dimension of the work, writing reproduced also according to the process.

- to promote artistic creation - to use works produced or reproduced in wall advertising, in publishing advertising. -use the works produced or reproduced for all advertising, branding, logos. - to produce works ranging from the miniature to the mural.

- to produce illustrations and texts for all publications for sighted or blind or visually impaired.

- to produce or reproduce works for commemorative, religious or tourist souvenirs.

Reproducible works are all visual works that can be digitized or digitized by their nature. These works to be reproduced mainly for silver prints, digital photos, films, drawings, paintings, frescoes, watercolors, oils, pastels, pencils, etchings, lithographs, engravings, sculptures, writing, calligraphy, including computer design, the computer drawing and all graphic, artistic, advertising expressions.

To implement the method, it is necessary to use a digital recording of the works to be reproduced. This digital recording of works is divided into two groups: - digital recording by nature: works produced by digital devices such as digital camera, digital camera, creation software, editing and editing digital images, computer-aided design, drawing computer assisted.

This digital data is used to control the laser scanning of a surface where the model is reproduced.

The surface in which the model is reproduced consists of a composite or hydraulic or glycerophthalic or cellulosic or acrylic coating. The coating used may be of vegetable, mineral or synthetic origin. These coatings being, among others based on plaster, lime, cement, earth, tadelakt, stucco. We can add loads such as marble powder, bronze, quartz. Advantageously, a fine-grained coating is used to give details of the reproduced work.

This surface can: - be worked as it is - be treated in order to increase its resistance against shocks, wear, dirt: use water-based or polyurethane varnishes, glazing, hardeners or composites . The final appearance is according to choice, matte, satin or gloss. Advantageously, a satin polyurethane varnish will be used.

- to emphasize certain aspects and improve the aesthetics of the model, to be advantageously covered by oil painting, acrylic paint, glycerophtalic paint, watercolors, pastels, inks, natural pigments, synthetic pigments, dyes, waxes, varnishes, mineral fillers , vegetable fillers, metal charges and all products enabling the work to be revealed, recoveries used alone or in combination.
