Abstract

The device has parts (A, B) each with four articulated panels set into a parallelepipedic envelope. Transversal dimensions of the parts are such that the envelope of one part (B) is rolled around the envelope of the other part (A). The panels of the part (B) have at their ends, stubs articulated through scorings perpendicular to those of the articulation of the panels of the part (B). The stubs are folded over each other by stacking.

Description

The present invention relates to a packaging device for sending

  one or more bottles.

  The present invention aims to solve the problems of transporting bottles, especially wine, when they are to be shipped in very small quantities.

  Currently the shipment of bottles is made through transport companies, the bottles being packaged in cartons usually 6, 12 or 15 bottles.

  The smaller the number of bottles, the higher the shipping costs. It is thus perfectly possible that the sending of a single bottle generates transport costs greater than the market value of said bottle.

  This penalizes individuals who buy in small quantities and by correspondence, transport costs are often prohibitive, to the detriment of the seller.

  To overcome this drawback it is possible to transport small quantities of bottles by parcel post, but if the transport costs are less important it is necessary to use specific packaging, to prevent the risk of breakage, which have many disadvantage compared to standard packaging.

  Thus, besides a cost much higher than that of a standard packaging, these specific packages are of a complex assembly which requires a certain training, and which is expensive in time.

  It is also possible to produce packages of simple design, associated with means of setting synthetic material, which poses problems in terms of cost, as well as from an ecological point of view.

  It is also conceivable to make packaging based on thick cardboard to increase rigidity, however such a carton, in addition to its higher cost, has limitations of the folding point.

  The present invention aims to provide a packaging device for mailing one or more bottles, which overcomes the various aforementioned drawbacks, being of a low manufacturing cost and a easy and fast implementation.

  The packaging device for the mailing of one or more bottles according to the invention is of the type consisting of a blank cut and repressed, semi-rigid material such as cardboard, and composed of a juxtaposition of rectangular panels separated by parallel upsets, and it is essentially characterized in that it comprises two parts, a first part of at least four articulated panels able to be shaped into a first parallelepipedic envelope, and a second part of at least four articulated panels adapted to be shaped into a second parallelepipedal envelope and whose transverse dimensions are such that said second envelope can be wound around said first envelope to contain it in a controlled manner, while at least the panels of said second part have at each of their ends a hinged flap via a perpendicular extrusion to those of articulation of the panels together, so as to form closure means of the ends of said second envelope, the final maintenance being achieved by means of at least one adhesive strip.

  Such a packaging device has walls that are twice the thickness of conventional packaging, which provides greater impact resistance.

  According to an additional feature of the packaging device according to the invention, the flap folded last to close each of the ends, consists of a flap of the second part, other than the flap of the panel of the free end of said second part.

  This feature provides for increased retention of the free end panel of said second portion.

  According to another additional characteristic of the packaging device according to the invention, the two parts each comprise four panels, the first three panels of the first part are of the same width chosen according to the dimensional characteristics of the bottle to be packaged. , while the following panel is of a width equal to said added width of about the value of the thickness of the blank used, and that the panels of the second part are of a width equal to said width plus about twice that thickness.

  According to another additional feature of the packaging device according to the invention, the fourth panel of the first part comprises at each of its ends a flap with a length equal to the width of the first three panels of the first part, while the the backing which attaches it to said panel is offset, about a thickness of blank, inward with respect to the extreme edges of said first three panels, so as to allow the closure of the end of the rectangular parallelepiped made of the first part by the folding of said flap and its engagement between said first three panels.

  According to another additional characteristic of the packaging device according to the invention, the panel of the free end of the second part comprises at each of its ends a flap intended to be folded over the rectangular parallelepiped made of the first part, and it is for this purpose of a length slightly greater than the width of the first three panels of the first part, and the upsetting which attaches to said panel is offset, about a thickness of blank, outwardly relative to the edges of said first three panels.

  According to another additional characteristic of the packaging device according to the invention, the panel intended, in the second part, to face the panel of the free end of the second part after shaping, comprises at each of its ends a flap intended to be folded on the flap of said panel 2882031 of the free end of the second part, for this purpose it is the same length and the upsetting that attaches to said panel is offset, about a thickness of blank, to the outside relative to that of said panel of the free end of the second part.

  According to another additional feature of the packaging device according to the invention, the two panels intended, after shaping, to face perpendicular to the panel of the free end of the second part, each comprise at each of their ends a flap with a length of about half the width of said panel of the free end of the second part, and they are attached to said panels by means of aligned and offset upsets, about a thickness of blank, to the outside relative to the upsetting of the flap they are intended to cover by being folded and abutted, before being secured by means of an adhesive tape, not shown.

  According to a variant of the packaging device according to the invention, in particular intended to contain more than one bottle, the first part comprises additional panels intended for the production of at least one intermediate inner wall for the production of a compartmentalization of the first part.

  According to another additional characteristic of the variant of the device according to the invention, each intermediate wall comes from the division of a panel into four elements, the two central elements being intended to constitute said intermediate wall coming into contact with one another. other, perpendicular to the two lateral elements which remain aligned in the extension of one another.

  From the point of view implemented, the preferred method consists in arranging the bottle or bottles on the blank, after shaping the additional panels in the case of more than one bottle, then rolling around the first part to form the first envelope, then rolling it on the second part to form the second envelope around the first, then 2882031 5 to fold the flaps of the ends, finally to secure the assembly by means of adhesive strips.

  The advantages and characteristics of the packaging device according to the invention will emerge more clearly from the description which follows and which refers to the appended drawing, which represents several non-limiting embodiments thereof.

  In the accompanying drawing: - Figure 1 shows a plan view of a blank for the realization of a packaging device according to the invention for packaging a bottle.

  - Figure 2 shows a schematic cross-sectional view of the same packaging device after shaping.

  - Figure 3 shows a plan view of a blank for the realization of a packaging device according to the invention for packaging two bottles.

  - Figure 4 shows a schematic cross-sectional view of the same packaging device after shaping.

  Referring to Figures 1 and 2, it can be seen that a blank for a packaging device according to the invention consists of the juxtaposition of panels articulated in pairs by parallel upsets, and divided into two parts A and B, the part A consisting of four panels 1, 2, 3 and 4, starting from the free end, while the part B consists of four panels 5, 6, 7 and 8, from the part A to the other free end.

  The panels 1, 2, 3 are of the same width 1, and the panel 4 has a width equal to the width 1 plus the value of the thickness of the blank used, whereas the panels 5, 6, 7 and 8 are of a width equal to the width 1 plus double the thickness of the blank.

  As can be seen in Figure 2, the panels 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the part A are intended to be shaped rectangular parallelepiped of square section, and the panels 5, 6, 7 and 8 of the part B are intended to form another rectangular parallelepiped of square section enclosing tightly the part A, each of the panels 5, 6, 7 and 8 coming into close contact with the panels 1, 2, 3 and 4, respectively.

  When packaging a bottle C, shown in broken lines, it is wound in the blank, starting from the panel 1 to the panel 8, the final maintenance being provided by an adhesive tape D posed at once on panel 8 and panel 5.

  The width 1 is of course chosen according to the dimensional characteristics of the bottle C to be packaged, in order to achieve the best possible wedging thereof.

  The closure of the ends of the package is carried out by the flap flap that include in particular the panels of the part B, as well as, in this embodiment, the panel 4.

  Thus, the panels 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 each comprise at each end, hinged by means of an upsetting, a flap respectively 40, 50, 60, 70 and 80, these flaps being intended to be folded down the on each other in a particular order.

  For this purpose, the flaps are of different lengths, and the upsets that attach them to the panels are parallel but offset to allow stacking.

  Note that since both ends of the package are symmetrical, only one will be described.

  The flap 40 is of a length equal to the width 1 of the panel 3, while the upset 41 which attaches it to the panel 4 is shifted, by about a thickness of blank, inward with respect to the extreme edges 11, 21 and 31 of the panels respectively 1, 2 and 3, which are aligned so as to allow the closure of the end of the rectangular parallelepiped made of the part A, by the folding of the flap 40 and its engagement between the panels 1, 2 and 3 in the alignment of the edges 11, 21 and 31.

  The flap 80 which is intended to be folded over the flap 40, for this purpose it is of a length slightly greater than the width 1 and the upset 81 which attaches it to the panel 8 is offset by a thickness of blank, outwardly relative to the edges 11, 21 and 31.

  The flap 60 is intended to be folded over the flap 80, for this purpose it is of the same length and the upset 61 which attaches it to the panel 6 is shifted, about a thickness of blank, outwardly with respect to the upsetting 81.

  The flaps 50 and 70 are of a length approximately equal to half the width of the panels 6 and 8, and are attached to the panels, respectively 5 and 7, by means of upsets, respectively 51 and 71, aligned and offset , about a blank thickness, outwardly relative to the upsetting 61. The flaps 50 and 70 are intended to be folded and abutted on the flap 60, and then secured by means of an adhesive tape, not shown.

  Referring now to Figures 3 and 4, there can be seen a variant of the packaging device according to the invention, which is intended for the packaging of two bottles C. In this variant the blank also comprises two parts A and B, the part A consisting of four panels 1 ', 2', 3 'and 4', while the part B consists of four panels 5 ', 6', 7 'and 8', all these panels being articulated in pairs by the Intermediate crushing.

  The panel 2 'has the distinction of being divided into four panels 20', 21 ', 22' and 23 ', which are, just like the panels 1' and 3 'of the same width 1 chosen according to the dimensional characteristics of the bottle C. As regards the panel 4 ', it is a width equal to twice the width 1 increased by about three times the thickness of the blank, while the 5' and 7 ' are of a width equal to the width 1 plus double the thickness of the blank, and that the panels 6 'and 8' are of a width equal to the width of the panel 4 'plus the thickness of the blank.

  As can be seen in FIG. 4, the panels 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the part A are intended to be shaped rectangular parallelepiped of rectangular section, the panels 2882031 8 20 'and 23' being positioned in the extension of each other while the panels 21 'and 22' come into contact flat against each other perpendicular to the panels 4 ', 20' and 23 ', to form an intermediate wall of double thickness between the two bottles C. As for the embodiment for packaging a single bottle, the portion B is intended to form a second rectangular parallelepiped enveloping tightly by winding the part A, each of the panels 5 ', 6', 7 'and 8 'coming into tight contact with the panels 1', 20 'and 23', 3 'and 4', respectively.

  The closure of the ends of the package is achieved by the flap flap that comprise the panels of the part B. Thus, the panels 5 ', 6', 7 'and 8' each comprise at each end articulated through of an upsetting, respectively a flap 50 ', 60', 70 'and 80', these flaps being intended to be folded over each other in a particular order.

  As for the embodiment described above, the two ends of the package being symmetrical, it will be described only one.

  The flaps 50 'and 70' are of a length equal to half the width of the panel 4 ', and the ups and downs 51' and 71 'by which they are hinged to the panels 5' and 7 'respectively, are aligned with the extreme edges of the panels of the part A. They are intended to be folded and butted to close the parallelepiped rectangle made of part A. The shutter 80 'is intended to cover the shutters 50' and 70 ', it is attached to the panel 8 by means of an upset 81 'offset outwardly with respect to the upsets 51' and 71 ', of about a thickness of blank.

  The shutter 60 'is intended to cover the shutter 80', it is attached to the panel 6 'by means of an upset 61' offset outwardly relative to the upsets 81 ', about a thickness of blank .

  In this embodiment the panel 4 'does not have, unlike its counterpart panel 4 of the previous embodiment, flap for closing the part A, but that 2882031 9 is perfectly feasible. Note that the addition of such a flap, with the same characteristics, would require making cuts at the ends of the intermediate panels 21 'and 22'.

  In this embodiment, the two bottles C are wedged individually, each wrapped on all sides by double walls.

  In the same way as for the embodiment for packaging a single bottle, the shaping is carried out by winding in an easy and fast movement.

  Note that the architecture of the embodiment for two bottles can also be used to pack three or even four bottles, providing sufficient intermediate walls.

  It goes without saying that the present invention can not be limited to the foregoing description of several of its embodiments, may undergo some modifications without departing from the scope of the invention.

Claims (9)

  1) Packaging device for the mailing of one or more bottles (C) of the type consisting of a blank cut and repressed, semi-rigid material such as cardboard, and composed of a juxtaposition of panels rectangular sections separated by parallel upsets, characterized in that it comprises two parts (A, B), a first part (A) of at least four hinged panels (1, 2, 3, 4; 1 ', 2', 3 ', 4') adapted to be shaped into a first parallelepipedic envelope, and a second part (B) of at least four articulated panels (5, 6, 7, 8; 5 ', 6', 7 ', 8 ') adapted to be shaped into a second parallelepipedal envelope and whose transverse dimensions are such that said second envelope can be wound around said first envelope to contain it in a controlled manner, while at least the panels ( 5, 6, 7, 8, 5 ', 6', 7 ', 8') of said second portion (B) have at each of their ends a flap (50, 60, 70, 80; 50 ', 60', 70 ', 80') articulated through a recess (51, 61, 71, 81; 51 ', 61', 71 ', 81') perpendicular to those of articulation of the panels together, the flaps (50, 60, 70, 80; 50 ', 60', 70 ', 80') being intended to be folded over each other by stacking so as to form closure means of the ends of said second envelope, the final maintenance being achieved by means of at least one adhesive strip (D).   2) Packaging device according to claim 1, characterized in that the flap (60; 60 ') folded last to close each of the ends, consists of a flap of the second part (B), other than the panel flap (8; 8 ') of the free end of said second part.   3) Device according to claim 1 or claim 2, characterized in that the two parts (A, B) each comprise four panels (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8), the first three panels (1, 2, 3) of the first part (A) are of the same width (1) chosen according to the dimensional characteristics of the bottle (C) to be packaged, while the following panel (4) is of a width equal to said width (1) plus approximately the value of the thickness of the blank used, and that the panels (5, 6, 7, 8) of the second part (B) are of a width equal to the width width (1) plus about twice that thickness.   4) A packaging device according to claim 3, characterized in that the fourth panel (4) of the first portion (A) comprises at each of its ends a flap (40) of a length equal to the width of the first three panels (1, 2, 3) of the first part (A), while the upset (41) which attaches it to said panel (4) is offset, about a thickness of blank, inwards with respect to the edges extremes (11, 21, 31) of said first three panels (1, 2, 3), so as to allow the closure of the end of the rectangular parallelepiped made of the first part (A) by the folding of said flap (40) and its engagement between said first three panels (1, 2, 3).   5) Packaging device according to claim 3 or claim 4, characterized in that the panel (8; 8 ') of the free end of the second portion (B) comprises at each of its ends a flap (80; 80 ') intended to be folded over the rectangular parallelepiped made of the first part (A), and it is for this purpose a length slightly greater than the width of the first three panels (1, 2, 3; 1', 2 ', 3') of the first portion (A), and the upset (81) which attaches it to said panel (8; 8 ') is offset, about one blank thickness, outwardly with respect to the edges ( 11, 21, 31) of said first three panels (1, 2, 3; 1 ', 2', 3 ').   6) Packaging device according to any one of claims 3 to 5, characterized in that the panel (6; 6 ') intended, in the second part (B), to face the panel (8; 8') the free end of said second portion (B) after shaping has at each of its ends a flap (60; 60 ') intended to be folded over the flap (80; 80') of said panel (8 , 8 ') of the free end of the second part (B), for this purpose it is of the same length and the recess (61; 61') which attaches it to said panel (6;
