Abstract

La présente invention présente un Terminal informatique portatif hautement personnalisé par et pour son utilisateur qu'il identifie avec sûreté afin de sécuriser les opérations mettant en oeuvre des modules de liaison et des mémoires amovibles, notamment des cartes à puce.L'authentification forte est faite à l'intérieur du Terminal sans que les données confidentielles puissent être accessibles de l'extérieur. Ceci sécurise les utilisations qui peuvent en être faites comme la gestion de comptes bancaires (paiements, virements...), les contrôles d'accès, la liaison avec des réseaux ...Le Terminal peut s'adapter à des opérations, partenaires et fonctions très divers grâce à l'utilisation d'éléments amovibles généralement programmables, notamment divers types de mémoires et de liaisons spécifiques comme : ultrasonores, IR, optique, réseaux VHF, RF (RFID).L'Opérateur titulaire peut programmer à souhait le processus de son identification par le Terminal en choisissant les types de tests et éventuellement leurs valeurs et leur hiérarchie.Le Terminal n'est opérationnel qu'après la validation du processus d'identification établit par l'Opérateur lors de la configuration. Cette validation peut être limitée dans le temps.L'Opérateur peut également programmer le traitement interne des échanges effectués avec l'extérieur comme les conditions de paiement et la gestion sommaire des comptes.Le Terminal peut fournir une aide substantielle à la décision en instaurant un dialogue d'information avec le ou les partenaires, par exemple avant un paiement ou pour choisir entre plusieurs comptes.Enfin un dispositif de sécurité physique relie le Terminal à son Opérateur qui désactive le Terminal en cas de vol, par exemple.
