Abstract

Pour localiser un terminal (10) lors de l'accès à un service IP, par l'intermédiaire d'un réseau d'accès (1, 2) et d'un réseau de transport IP (5), le terminal émet conformément au procédé à un serveur d'adresses (6) par l'intermédiaire d'un serveur d'accès (3, 4), un message de requête d'une adresse IP dans lequel il insère un identifiant du terminal, reçoit une adresse IP, émet un message d'enregistrement contenant l'adresse IP attribuée, à destination du service IP (15), pour y accéder ; le serveur d'accès insère dans le message de requête d'adresse un identifiant d'un point d'accès du terminal au réseau d'accès, le point d'accès étant associé à des données de localisation ; le serveur d'adresses mémorise dans une base de données (8) l'adresse IP attribuée au terminal en association avec les identifiants du terminal et du point d'accès ; et le service IP accède à la base de données pour obtenir des informations de localisation du terminal.
