Abstract

The device has a tight rectangular container (1) for retaining dangerous fluid materials in case of accidental leak, and having a peripheral reinforcement (12) and four bases (13). A grid (2) is placed on the reinforcement and receives a package containing fluid materials. Four connecting rods (3) are mounted vertically at four corners of the container using a stowing device. Bars (4) are mounted vertically at the top of the rods.

Description

The present invention relates to an arrangement for storing, handling and

  removable transport for polluting or dangerous fluid materials, such as granular, powdery, liquid or pasty materials stored in drums, cans or any type of packaging.

  Regulations require companies to store pollutants and dangerous products packaged on holding tanks that can retain the pollutant in case of leakage of its packaging.

  Traditionally, the storage of these products is carried out on metal tanks or plastics, on which is generally placed a grid serving as a support not sealed to stored products.

  These systems have the disadvantage of not being superimposed on each other, except to resort to complicated devices, expensive and difficult to implement. Moreover, when it comes to protect the packaging of polluting material by protective barriers or screens or full walls, integral tanks, it is necessary to use different equipment and specific to each use. Finally, the materials offered are generally not removable.

  The device according to the invention makes it possible to overcome these various disadvantages by proposing a simple and inexpensive dismountable system for stacking devices on one another, whether or not they are loaded with pollutant packaging. Devices allowing stacking also serving as a protection to a greater or lesser degree of stored products.

  The device of the type of the invention comprises a rigid structure defining a parallelepipedal volume that can be assembled or disassembled quickly and allowing storage on each other, so as to save space in the storage areas.

  The object of the present invention is to define a storage, handling and transport device whose structure is simple, economical, easy and quick to assemble and whose various accessories that can be adapted to allow various uses, depending on the needs of the user, for example: a simple storage of pollutants followed by a stack of devices on top of each other to save space on the ground, or a storage of pollutants, dangerous in a completely closed device.

  To do this, the present invention provides a removable storage, transport and handling device for polluting or hazardous fluid materials such as granules, pulverulent, liquid or pasty contained in drums, cans or any type of packaging, comprising: sealed horizontal tank for retaining the dangerous fluid in case of accidental leakage. This tank has a peripheral reinforcement protruding inside the tank and four feet of special shape facilitating the stacking of the devices on each other.

  A grid placed on the peripheral reinforcement of the tank and intended to receive the packages containing the polluting or dangerous materials.

  Four candles mounted vertically at the four corners of the tank by means of a quick and easy lashing device.

  Three or four bars mounted horizontally at the top of the vertical candles.

  According to one characteristic, this device is made of steel but it can also be made of any metallic or plastic material or partially of metal and partly of plastic material.

  According to one characteristic, the horizontal bars have an angle-shaped section, so as to receive the feet of the tank during storage on each other. But these horizontal bars can have various shapes, in particular to improve the strength or facilitate manufacture.

  The invention will now be amply described with reference to the accompanying drawings, giving by way of non-limiting example several embodiments of the present invention.

  In the drawings: FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a device for storing, handling or transporting polluting or dangerous substances according to the present invention.   - Plate 316 is a perspective view of the stacking of two single tanks, one on the other, for storage outside the period of use of the devices. The shape of the feet is provided with a disengagement returned inwardly so that the tanks stacked one on the other do not slip. Such a device will be particularly appreciated when transporting tanks in vehicles.

  With reference to these drawings, the device comprises a rigid and removable structure defining a parallelepipedal volume. This structure essentially comprises two types of elements in its basic version, namely: The sealed tank 1 The grid 2 placed on the inner ply 12 of the tank.

  To these two elements, we add four vertical candles 3 and three or four horizontal bars 4. These pieces will form a parallelepiped that has three functions: - It will delimit a volume that will contain securely drums or cans located inside.

  - It allows stacking devices on each other.

  It can receive screened or closed walls and one or more doors to secure access to dangerous products.

  The screened or closed walls can be adapted to the vertical sides of the structure but also on the top.

  The sealed tank 1 located at the bottom of the device can be handled by the majority of handling equipment and, in particular, by forklifts. This tank has two remarkable characteristics: - A horizontal reinforcement 12 is made on the whole periphery. This reinforcement is practiced towards the inner part of the tank and can thus receive the grid 2 over its entire periphery. See Plate 216.

  This reinforcement 12 stiffens the vessel 1 and thus prevents any deformation under the pressure of the liquid that it could contain.

  - Four feet 13 whose main function is to support the tank while allowing gripping by forklift.

  The shape of these feet see plate 316 allows the interlocking devices on one another, without risk of slippage.

  A round or elongated hole 131 see plate 316 allows the lower attachment of the candles on the tank by means of any securing device like bolt or other similar device. The four vertical candles 3 see plate 416 are subjected to the watertight tank 1 by means of two devices: a bolt 131 or any other similar device solidarizing the bottom of the foot candle 13 of the tank 1.

  - A tongue 31 4/6 board that comes to cover the edge of the side wall of the tank.

  The setting up of the candle on the tank is done in two stages: board 4/6 - Approaching the candle towards the corner of the tank 1 while pushing down so that the tongue 31 comes to fit on the upper edge of the tank 1.

  - Establishment of the lower attachment 131 by a bolt or other device.

  When the four vertical candles 3 are mounted on the tank 1, the four horizontal bars 4 can be fixed at their upper ends by means of bolts or any other securing device, in order to obtain the structure drawn on the board 1/6 .

  In some cases, it will be possible to mount only three upper horizontal bars to facilitate the handling of the packages on the device.

  These structures can fit on each other see plate 5/6 to form vertical columns with reduced footprint.

  Grilled or solid surfaces may be subject to vertical candles 3 see plate 616 figure 1 These advantageous devices make it possible to securely enclose polluting, dangerous or valuable products.

  Similarly, - see plate 6/6 Figure 10 one or more access doors can be arranged on the vertical walls, so as to facilitate access to the interior of the parallelepiped.

  Finally, it is possible to completely close this device by closing the top by means of meshed or solid surfaces.
