Abstract

The device has a pocket formed of a steel flat section (3) pierced with holes or adjusted by steel strands (5) welded at their ends (2). The strands are maintained equidistant by two criss-cross and stapled steel wires (4). The criss-cross wires are located between 1/4 and 1/2 from the height of the flat section. A barrier (7) is held closed by a double spring (8) with a release lever (6).

  The present invention relates to a device for collecting nuts, hazelnuts or equivalents standing.

  The nuts picked up with bare hands often cause cuts, soiling, microbes, and back pain, the device according to the invention overcomes its disadvantages.

  It comprises in fact, according to a first feature, a set of closed son connected to each other forming a small closed basket. These threads spread by light pressure on the nuts to pick up on any land (grass, foliage ...) to trap them in the basket or to recover at the edges.

  A removable gate with a lever, attached to one side of the basket and held closed by a double spring, allows the emptying of the basket, which is done by a simple contact of the lever on the container to be filled.

  This set of steel wires (piano wire), is firmly fixed on a pierced steel flat to which these first are welded at their ends; these son are maintained in regular spacing with crossed steel son and stapled parallel to this flat.

  According to particular embodiments: the gate is made of steel wire and welded by soldering a steel handle is fixed on the upper part of the flat (3).

  The ten trailing strands (5) are maintained, equidistant by two crossed steel son and stapled on each side (4). They are placed between 1/4 and from the top to maintain the rigidity and flexibility of the steel strands (5).

  The steel strands have a generally triangular shape, with rounded lower corners.

  The opening lever (6) of the gate (7), held closed by a double spring (8) is actuated by a simple contact with the container to be filled.

  By way of nonlimiting example this embodiment will have dimensions of the order: At the base 180 mm long, 170 mm wide and 1200 mm high, its weight ranging from 800g to 1000g.

  The device according to the invention is intended for the collection of hard to access nuts and small productions.

  This device makes it possible to collect several nuts at once with speed, to slice and to remove the hulls often remaining. It could also be used for picking nuts, chestnuts, by adjusting the spacing of the strands (5).
