L'invention a pour objet un élément absorbeur d'énergie, en particulier destiné à un ensemble pare-chocs de véhicule, réalisé à partir de panneaux « roll-bond », de préférence de type biface, en alliage d'aluminium.De préférence les zones gonflées se répartissent de façon régulière non directionnelle sur le panneau sous forme de « pastilles », par exemple circulaires ou ovales, correspondant à une structure dite du type « bouilleur ».L'alliage utilisé est de préférence un alliage à durcissement structural de la famille 6000, par exemple du type 6016 à l'état T6.L'invention a également pour objet un procédé de fabrication de ces absorbeurs comportant la réalisation desdits panneaux « roll-bond », les opérations de gonflage après colaminage et mise en forme étant préférentiellement effectuées à l'état T4 dans le cas d'alliages à durcissement structural, et éventuellement l'assemblage pour obtention de structures tubulaires fermées, suivi du traitement thermique de revenu dans le cas d'alliages à durcissement structural.The subject of the invention is an energy-absorbing element, in particular intended for a vehicle bumper assembly, made from “roll-bond” panels, preferably of the two-sided type, made of aluminum alloy. the swollen zones are distributed in a regular non-directional manner on the panel in the form of “pellets”, for example circular or oval, corresponding to a structure known as of the “boiler” type.
