Abstract

The partition has two metallic walls (1, 2) spaced with respect to each other and including strutting units constituted of hollow patterns (3) which are obtained by punching the metallic wall (1). The hollow patterns form respective heads (31) with respect to the metallic wall (2). One of the patterns includes a drill (30) at the heads. A reinforcement material is disposed between the walls outside the heads. An independent claim is also included for an application of the partition to a strong box.

Description

DOUBLE WALL FENCE, AND APPLICATION TO THE PRODUCTION

SAFE.

  The invention relates generally to the production of thick metal partitions.

  More specifically, the invention relates to a partition comprising at least first and second metal walls spaced apart from one another, and spacer means connected to the walls and keeping them substantially parallel to each other.

  Metal walls of this type are conventionally made using, as spacer means, U-shaped irons which are welded between the two walls.

  The manufacture of metal walls thus produced is both long, delicate and expensive, each iron in IUT / to be maintained before welding and each requiring three welds.

  In this context, the invention aims to provide a partition designed to be performed in better conditions.

  To this end, the partition of the invention, moreover in accordance with the generic definition given in the preamble above, is essentially characterized in that the bracing means comprise at least three reliefs obtained by stamping the first wall and forming respective vertices bearing on the second wall and at least some of which are welded to the second wall.

  Preferably, at least one of the reliefs has a hole at the location of its top.

  In practice, all the reliefs of the first wall are advantageously drilled at the location of their top, and welded to the second wall.

  The partition of the invention may comprise a reinforcing material, for example refractory, disposed between the two walls outside the peaks of the reliefs of the first wall.

  In a possible embodiment of the invention, the reliefs of the first wall have a substantially frustoconical shape, these reliefs may also be arranged at least approximately staggered.

  Although the walls may be of equal thickness, it may be advantageous to give the first wall a thickness greater than that of the second wall.

  The partition of the invention is particularly well suited to the realization of a safe.

  The inner wall of this safe can then be constituted by the first wall, optionally chosen with a thickness greater than that of the second wall.

  The outer wall of the safe, which is then formed by the second wall, thus spontaneously has a flatness greater than that which can be observed on the outer wall of known safes.

  Other characteristics and advantages of the invention will emerge clearly from the description which is given hereinafter, by way of indication and in no way limiting, with reference to the appended drawings, in which: FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a partition according to the invention, observed on the side of the first wall; - Figure 2 is a sectional view of a partition according to the invention; and FIG. 3 is an enlarged view of the detail indicated by reference III in FIG.

  As previously announced, the invention relates to a partition comprising two metal walls 1 and 2 spaced from one another, these walls being further braced to be kept substantially parallel to each other.

  According to the invention, the bracing means of the walls 1 and 2 consist essentially of reliefs 3, which are at least three in number and which are obtained by stamping the wall 1, the second wall 2 remaining advantageously flat.

  These reliefs 3, of frustoconical shape for example, have respective vertices 31 which bear on the second wall 2 and which are welded to the other wall 2.

  Each relief 3 is very preferably crossed, at the location of its top 31, by a bore 30 to facilitate its welding to the second wall 2.

  As shown in Figure 1, the reliefs 3 are arranged at least approximately staggered on the wall 1.

  The partition of the invention may further comprise a reinforcing material 4, for example refractory, disposed between the two walls 1 and 2 outside the apices 31.

  As shown in FIG. 3, the wall 1 on which the reliefs 3 are defined may be thicker than the second wall 2.

  In the case where the partition is applied to the realization of a safe, the thickest wall 1 may constitute the inner wall of the trunk, while the wall 2 on which are welded the reliefs 3 constitutes the outer wall of the trunk -fort.

CLAIMS.   1. Partition comprising at least first and second metal walls (1, 2) spaced from one another, and spacer means (3) connected to the walls (1, 2) and keeping them substantially parallel to each other. one to the other, characterized in that the bracing means comprise at least three reliefs (3) obtained by stamping the first wall (1) and forming respective vertices (31) resting on the second wall (2) and at least some of which are welded to this second wall (2).   2. Partition according to claim 1, characterized in that at least one of the reliefs (3) has a bore (30) at the location of its top (31).   3. Partition according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that it comprises a reinforcing material (4) disposed between the two walls (1, 2) outside the vertices (31) of the reliefs (3) of the first wall (1).   4. Partition according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that all the reliefs (3) of the first wall (1) are drilled at the location of their top (31) and welded to the second wall (2) .   5. Partition according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the reliefs (3) of the first wall (1) have a substantially frustoconical shape.   6. Partition according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the reliefs (3) of the first wall (1) are arranged at least approximately staggered.   7. Partition according to any one of the preceding claims combined with claim 3, characterized in that the reinforcing material (4) is refractory.   8. Partition according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the first wall (1) is thicker than the second (2).   9. Application of the partition according to any one of the preceding claims to the realization of a safe.   10. Application according to claim 9 of the partition according to claim 8, wherein the first wall (1) constitutes an inner wall of the safe.
