Abstract

The method involves shooting passage of bees, using a camera connected to an image processing system contained in a case (1) placed in front of a beehive (2). A number of bees entering and leaving the beehive is counted during the passage of the bees in bee spaces. The count is displayed on a LCD to directly communicate an activity of the beehive to a mobile telephone or computer of a bee-keeper using a modem transmission system.
