Abstract

L'invention concerne un nouveau support pour carte à puce du genre carte bancaire composé d'une feuille-âme en polyéthylène téréphtalate. Cette feuille est thermoliée lors de sa fabrication d'une feuille de fibres de polyéthylène téréphtalate thermoliées entres-elles. Un espace sera réservé dans la feuille pour protéger la puce contre une déformation. Ce support pour carte à puce permettra, entre autres utilisations, d'obtenir une signature plus visible sur la carte bancaire. De plus, sa face opposée pourra servir de support à étiquettes.

La présente invention a pour objet un nouveau support pour 5 carte du genre Carte Bancaire ou autre avec une puce électronique.
Ce support est composé d'une feuille-âme en polyéthylène téréphtalate lui aussi, mais elle est thermoliée lors de sa fabrication d'une feuille de fibres de polyéthylène téréphtalate thermoliées entre-elles, pour composer ce que produisent les établissements Du Pont de Nemours aux U.S. A. sous le nom de Tyvec BrillionTM, et qui accepte les encres courantes pour l'écriture ou celle d'appareils d'impression avec des procédés usuels.
Un espace sera réservé dans la feuille de Tyvec BriIlionTM pour que la puce de notre nouvelle Carte à Puce Électronique n'ait à subir aucune déformation qui nuirait aux informations contenues.
Ce support pour carte à puce se différencie encore de celui que nous avons l'habitude d'utiliser, par le fait que la face opposée de celle utilisée comme support pour la Puce Électronique pourra servir de support à étiquettes, pour les utilisations que le marché saura lui trouver grâce à ses aspects pratiques.

  1. 2 REVENDICATIONS
    1) Support pour carte à puce caractérisé en ce qu'il est composé d'une feuille-âme en polyéthylène téréphtalate, ladite feuille étant thermoliée lors de sa fabrication d'une feuille de fibres de polyéthylène téréphtalate thermoliées entres-elles, et en ce qu'un espace est réservé dans la feuille pour protéger la puce contre une déformation.
    io 2) Support pour carte à puce selon la revendication précédente caractérisé en ce que sa face opposée peut servir de support à étiquettes.
