Abstract

The system has cutting tools (2) with shanks (2a) of different diameters, where the tools are fitted in bores of respective reducers (1) by a fitting machine. The bores have different diameters related to the shanks. The reducers are fitted in a single tool holder (3). Each reducer has a tapping for its fixing on a screw of a mounting that is adapted on the fitting machine, for fitting the tools in the respective reducers.

Cette invention concerne la technique connue du frettage thermique qui permet d'obtenir des assemblages outils coupants / porte-outils avec des concentricités très précises.  This invention relates to the known technique of thermal shrinking which makes it possible to obtain cutting tool / toolholder assemblies with very precise concentricities.

Un inconvénient à cette technique peut-être le fait qu'un porte-outil donné ne peut être utilisé que pour un seul diamètre de queue d'outil. En conséquence, chaque outil de diamètre de queue différent oblige à utiliser un porte-outil différent.  A disadvantage of this technique may be that a given toolholder can only be used for a single tool shank diameter. As a result, each tool of different tail diameter requires the use of a different tool holder.
