Abstract
The method involves measuring a value of pump current (Ip), at each period of electric supply to an electromagnetic pump. A time (tOB) at which the pump current attains its maximum value, is detected. A time difference (delta T) between the time (tOB) and a reference time (tref) is measured. A loading state of the pump is detected when the time difference approaches a reference value corresponding to a vacuum state of the pump. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) a device for detecting a state of loading of an electromagnetic pump with a vibrating core supplied by a half-wave rectified voltage (b) an electrical household appliance having an electromagnetic pump with a vibrating core supplied by a reservoir.
