Abstract

The device has an external cylindrical body (1) centered on an axis of a fire hose (20). Two ball bearing systems allow an internal cylindrical body (6) to rotate freely around the axis. Pressure of water on bladings (7) fixed on a central cylinder rotates the body (6), when water under pressure arrives at the hose. The central cylinder presents a length to fix a milling spindle supporting a drilling cutter.

Description

DESCRIPTION
DESCRIPTION
The invention relates to a portable device, at the end of a fire hose, which, by virtue of the energy due to the hydraulic pressure, both drives a cutter intended to pierce the doors of the enclosed premises and to inject water under pressure through the hole thus drilled.
Both functions of piercing and injection of pressurized water must be traditionally carried out by two separate devices consisting on the one hand by a fire hose and on the other hand by a piercing cutter powered by an electric or thermal motor of which the clutter and the weight are incompatible with the modalities of intervention against the fire in closed premises located in floor in the buildings.
This device makes it possible, by the piercing made through the materials constituting the doors of the premises, to water the interior of the room with the water under pressure of the fire hose and thus to avoid the possible explosion due to the accumulation of gaseous products produced by slow combustion in closed rooms.
The device according to the invention makes it possible to remedy this risk of explosion. It comprises in fact a drill to drill the materials, driven by a motor-hydraulic turbine operating with the water pressure and fixed at the end of the fire hose, on the connection provided for this purpose.
The device is constructed in such a way that the hydraulic power of the pressurized water available to the fire hose at the fire hose connection allows both the door material of the closed room and the door to be pierced. inject water into the room.
The device comprises a turbine-hydraulic engine actuated by the water pressure available to the fire hose (20). This turbine engine is located inside the part (1) constituted by the outer cylindrical body of the device and which is connected by the shoulder (2) on the fire hose connection (20) .This turbine engine comprises several bladders (7) fixed on the central cylinder (8) which is arranged along the axis (3) of the fire hose (20). These blades (7) are oriented in such a way that they transform the energy of the pressurized water into rotational movement impulsed to the central cylinder which carries the piercing cutter (17) thanks to the milling cutter piece (16).
The device according to the invention allows easy connection to the fire hose through a standard connecting part (2) The drawing of Figure 1 illustrates the invention by a sectional representation of the device.
With reference to this drawing, the device comprises a first hollow outer cylindrical body (1) in the axis (3) of the fire hose (20), the outer part of which has a projection (2) to be fixed to the hose connection. fire (20) and whose inner part carries the two ball bearing systems (4) and (5).
These two bearing systems themselves support a second hollow internal cylindrical body (6) movable around the axis (3) of the fire hose (20). This second movable inner cylindrical body (6) is secured to the central cylinder ( 8), centered on the axis (3), thanks to the two parts (9) and (10) located at both ends of the second movable cylindrical body (6).
The four pieces (11) (12) (13) (14) ensure the clamping between the central cylinder (8) and the pieces (9) and (10) The two pieces (9) and (10) are constituted by two crosses at both ends of the inner cylindrical body (6), and allow the passage of the passage of water therein.
On the outer circumference of the central cylinder (8), centered on the axis (3), are fixed a number of blades (7) which constitute the hydraulic turbine engine.
These blades are fixed at a particular angle with the axis (3) and have a specific shape; these arrangements make it possible to transform the hydraulic pressure of the water into rotational movement of the central cylinder (8) and the internal cylindrical body (6).
The central cylinder (8) has a certain length outside the cylindrical bodies (1) and (6). This length makes it possible to fix, at a certain distance from the workpiece (10), the cutter holder (16) which supports the piercing cutter (17).
The length of the internal cylindrical body (6), which constitutes the engine-hydraulic turbine, depends on the number of blades fixed on the central cylinder (8) depending on the desired rotational power required for the drilling capabilities of the cutter ( 18).
The distance between the milling gate (16) and the cross piece (10) depends on the thickness of the material to be pierced and the amount of water to be discharged through to the cross piece (10).
The parts constituted by the central cylinder (8), as well as by the milling gate (16) and the drill bit (17) are drilled in their axis (3) by the respective channels (15) (18) (19) which provide outward flow continuity for water from within the fire hose (20).
This continuity of water flow through the three channels, arranged along the same axis (3), allows the injection of pressurized water through the orifice, once it pierced by the cutter in the door of the room in which the intervention is located.
