Abstract

L'invention concerne le domaine aéronautique.Selon l'invention, on propose de remplacer tout ou partie des hublots de l'avion par des hublots virtuels (20) sur lesquels sont affichés, notamment à destination des passagers, une image réaliste du paysage qu'ils pourraient voir à travers un hublot réel. Les images sont fournies par une base de données préenregistrées (10), soit que cette base de données contienne des images photographiées ou filmées à l'avance, par temps clair, soit qu'elle contienne des données de terrain à partir desquelles des images de synthèse réalistes du paysage survolé peuvent être affichées. Les images sont fournies en fonction de la position de l'avion pour correspondre effectivement, au moins approximativement, au terrain survolé
