Abstract

The board (1) has a curve (B) giving an angular turn trajectory. Five large edges and two external edges with crossing curves participate with the trajectory, and engage on the snow on water and in air based on their length. An arc shape under the board creates grooves, which support the trajectory during snow gliding. Ends of the larger edges produce a friction, which contributes to reset the board in line.

whose sliding concept

  is radically different from the existing concept that I will call flat gliding on edges.

  This concept is based on a structured curved surface with directional gliding edges which will give the gliding trajectory and stability on the multiplicity of grips under the board (1) ç all avoiding controlled slippage through a structural edge in the molding of a sliding groove of a curvature proportional to the speed.
